1 Sussex County Republican Executive Committee Meeting Georgetown Cheer Center Georgetown, DE January 12, 2015 MEETING MINUTES CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order following elections by Chairman Vince Calabro at 8.40 pm. There was a quorum of members of the Executive Committee and 73 visitors. INVOCATION/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Bruce Fitzgerald/Tony Matero WELCOME FIRST TIME GUESTS: Deferred due to time constraints. 2 REPUBLICAN OF THE MONTH: CHAIRMAN S REPORT: Chairman Calabro thanked everyone for their support and acknowledged all who had worked diligently to ensure that the elections ran smoothly. He offered special recognition to his opponent, Mary Spicer, and expressed his desire to work together with her and her supporters moving forward. Chairman Calabro announced that the Executive Committee meeting will be extremely abbreviated due to time constraints, and asked that anyone with new business or issues to be brought before the committee please defer them to next month. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: o Motion by Linda Creasy at the request of the Advisory Board to reappoint Miguel Pirez-Fabar as Parliamentarian. Seconded, approved.
