1 RICEWOOD MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NOTICE OF SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING Notice is hereby given to all interested members of the public that the Board of Directors (the "Board" ) of the above captioned District will hold a special public meeting at 1300 Post Oak Boulevard, Suite 1400, Houston, Harris County, Texas, said address being an office and meeting place of the District. The meeting will be held on Tuesda Januar at 12:00 Noon. The Board shall consider and discuss the following matters and take any action necessary or appropriate with respect to such matters: Approval of the minutes of the Board meeting of December 19, 2017; Public comments; Report regarding security patrol in the District, and the taking of any action necessary and appropriate in connection therewith; Discussion regarding maintenance of park and recreational facilities; Bookkeeper's Report, including financial and investment reports, and the taking of any action required in connection therewith, including authorizing the payment of invoices presented; Adoption of Resolution Adopting List of Qualified Brokers Authorized to Engage in Investment Transactions with District; Authorize preparation and submission of District information to Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts as required by Section , Texas Government Code, and Chapter 203, Texas Local Government Code, for inclusion in the Special Purpose District Public Information Database; Tax Assessor-Collector report, including authorizing payment of invoices presented, approving moving of accounts to uncollectible roll, status of collection of delinquent taxes, and authorizing lawsuit and/or foreclosure, as appropriate; Report and legal action taken by the District's delinquent tax collections attorney; authorize foreclosure proceedings, installment agreements, and the filing of proofs of claim; 10. Orant exemptions from taxation for 2018, and adoption of a Resolution in connection therewith;

Ado p t ion of R esolution Authorizing an Additional Penalty on Delinquent Personal Property Taxes and authorize delinquent tax attorney to collect delinquent personal property taxes beginning April 1, 2018, including the filing of lawsuits, as necessary; 12. En g i neering Report, including: Authorizing the design and/or advertisement for bids for the construction of facilities within the District, and approving of related storm water plans; Review and approval of any Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans or Storm Water Quality Management Plans related to construction within or on behalf of District, and the execution of any documentation in connection therewith; Authorizing the award of construction contracts or concurrence of award of contracts for the construction of facilities within the District, authorize acceptance of Texas Ethics Commission ("TEC") Form 1295 and approval of any related storm water permits; Status of construction of facilities to serve land within the District, including the approval of any pay estimates and/or change orders, and authorize acceptance of TEC Form 1295 in connection therewith, including: (i) Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project, Phase II; Acceptance of site and/or easement conveyances for facilities constructed or to be constructed for the District, and acceptance of facilities for operation and maintenance purposes, and the taking of any action in connection therewith; Status of d evelopment of t r act fo r c ommercial and retail facilities and construction of detention and drainage improvements; authorize any action necessary in connection therewith; Status of Emergency Water Supply Agreement with West Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 7; and Status of plans to relocate the District's sanitary sewer line near the northeast corner of Fry Road and Morton Road; 13. App r oval of Right of Entry Agreement with West Harris County Regional Water Authority relative to installation of Automated Meter Reading system; 14. Op e r ation and Maintenance Report, including: a. b. C. d. Termination of delinquent accounts; Forwarding delinquent accounts to collection agency, and the taking of any action in connection therewith; Appeals of District charges; and Compliance with permits and regulatory requirements, including review of any notices of v i olations, responses to notices and remedial action taken, selfreporting forms as and if required, and correspondence to and from regulatory agencies regarding same; 15. Approval of Consent to Assumption of Service Agreement by and between the District and In&amark, LLC;

The Board shall consider and act upon the following matters: Consider calling Directors Election to be held on May 5, 2018, determining of procedure for giving notice of same, and the adoption of an order in connection therewith, including appointment of an agent for the District; and 2. Cons i der compensation to be paid to election officials.
