The Regular Meeting of the Rocklin City Council, Rocklin Public Financing Authority and Successor Agency convened at 6:01 p.m. Mayor Yuill presiding. 2. Robert Dugan led the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Reports from Boards, Committees, and Commissions and General Councilmember Announcements Vice Mayor Broadway reported his and Mayor Yuill's attendance at a Roseville/Lincoln committee meeting. Councilmember Gayaldo reported attendance at Kids First, Rocklin Educational Excellence Foundation, Yankee Hill & GayaIdo Park fall festivals, and Salvation Army luncheon. Councilmember Janda reported attendance at the Sacramento Area Council of Governments' meeting. Mayor Yuill submitted an article regarding Sacramento's bid on Amazon's second headquarters and reported attendance at the press release as a board member of Greater Sacramento Economic Council. He also read a prepared statement in response to the Sacramento Bee article titled "Rocklin's Attorney was Paid $270,000 to Leave." AGENDA REVIEW 5. Agenda Modifications none. CONSENT CALENDAR 6. PUBLIC HEARINGS 17. Kennels Amendment The proposed project would amend certain sections of Title 6 Animals and Title 17 - Zoning of the Rocklin Municipal Code to allow animal kennels in certain zoning districts. Mayor Yuill opened the public hearing at 6:26 p.m. Bret Finning presented the staff report. Council questions related to: Zones and zoning "Continual" annoyance and "regular" annoyance ordinance language Public input: Chase Torka, support Paul Renken, support Jenny Renken, support, and submitted documents related to the kennel business Mayor Yuill closed the public hearing at 6:58 p.m.

Move to Introduce an Ordinance No with language "as is" of the City Council of the City of Rocklin to Modify Sections of Titles 6 and 17 of the Rocklin Municipal Code Regarding Kennels, Waive the Full Reading of the Ordinance and Continue to the Next Regular Meeting for Adoption Motion to introduce Item 17.A. by Councilmember Janda, seconded by Councilmember Gayaldo. Resolution No of the City of Rocklin Approving the Purchase of Real Property Formerly Known as the Sunset Whitney Golf Course for Public Purposes Steve Rudolph presented the staff report.
