3 General information The congress covers all three microbiological research areas: clinical, industrial and basic research. Therefore, researchers from all fields of microbiology attend, making the Congress particularly attractive for suppliers to microbiological research and diagnostics. Last year we had participation from 280 microbiologists from universities, hospitals and the industry, and it is expected that at least as many will participate this year. The symposia are scheduled parallel to the scientific program. Each symposium last 75 minutes and are placed in the morning and afternoon, respectively. The program for each symposium is organized by the sponsor (theme and speakers) and is subject to approval by Organizing Committee. Each symposium will be listed in the program as part of the official program, and held in a room at Eigtveds Pakhus. Sponsors have the opportunity to offer refreshments during the symposium. 6 Lanyards 4000 DKK All participants wear their badge at all times during the congress. The lanyards will be handed to all participants together with the badge at registration. The sponsorship does not include production costs, which are paid by the sponsor. Conference bags 4000 DKK The conference bags will contain all the congress material and will be distributed to all participants at registration. The sponsorship does not include production costs, which are paid by the sponsor. Poster prizes 4000 DKK 3 poster prizes will be awarded. One for the best poster and two for the runner-ups. The sponsorship includes promotion as poster prize sponsor at the DMS website, in the program and at the congress. 6
