1 Resolutions of the National Energy Parliament (India) 2011 Submitted by the ISA VISWA PRAJNANA TRUST Isalayam Lane, Anayara P.O., Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala India

2 January 10, 2012 From: Secretary Global Energy Parliament Dear Sir or Madam, Distinguished scientists and scholars from India were drawn together to form a National Energy Parliament for India on December 30, 2011 at the Kerala State Science & Technology Museum, Thiruvananthapuram. The National Energy Parliament is a branch of the Global Energy Parliament, which held its first international session in 2010 at Thiruvananthapuram, India and the second at Dresden, Germany. This first meet of the Indian National Energy Parliament was inaugurated by Shri. K.C. Venugopal, Hon. Minister of State for Power, Govt of India, and is envisioned to contribute a substantial voice to the global community as we move forward into an era of increasingly borderless culture and shared global concerns. The establishment of this National Energy Parliament upon the scientific principles laid out by the visionary mind of the founder of the Global Energy Parliament, H.H. Swami Isa, namely in the I Theorem, will ensure that the Nation s development is peaceful, scientifically minded, and far-sighted. At the inaugural session, Members and distinguished guests assembled to discuss methodologies for the holistic and comprehensive aspects of energy within a national perspective in three main areas Energy, Education and Environment with special attention to sustainable growth of the nation over the next 200 years. H.H. Swami Isa made a substantial contribution by analysing these areas in terms of the science of energy, specifically of the I particle. The Members of the National Energy Parliament for India have identified a few problem-areas and discussed possible solutions. The following recommendations are hereby proposed to overcome these challenges, which should be put before State and Central governments as well as relevant branches of the United Nations. (1) ENVIRONMENT The human system and the environment are not yet understood at a basic level.

3 Therefore, almost all professions from farmers, medical doctors, lawyers, educators and architects are not able to fully serve human needs without creating new, or greater, harm in the long run either to humanity or to the environment. To rectify this, the most basic level the level of the I particle (the I-plane ) needs to be thoroughly researched. A laboratory should be established to investigate the very minute particles of energy, with intergovernmental support. (2) ENERGY To provide for the Nation s growing need for power and dwindling resources, it is imperative to convert to a completely renewable system of Energy for the Nation. However, most of the current alternate energy sources, such as silicon solar panels, are not economically viable to produce, nor available for most of the population. Re-using or recycling waste and converting it into power has two-fold effects, in reducing waste and creating power. Sound pollution is one such waste product that is a nuisance in many cities in the Nation. Sound energy conversion into electricity should be explored more seriously. Technologies can be developed that would use the sound generated in a home to power it. On a larger scale, noise from traffic, music and electronics could feasibly be harvested to serve as a large source of power for a small city. Research should be promoted in this area. (3) EDUCATION The present system of education is creating generations of youngsters who are increasingly dissatisfied, destructive, self-oriented, lacking in common sense, community values and compassion. Often their short-sighted choices do harm to themselves, their community and the environment. Further, educational institutions are unable to identify with the human essence of the students and are merely acting as factories producing objects of which the current trend in business is in highest demand. Educational institutions are therefore acting as businesses rather than abodes of knowledge and wisdom. As such, a balanced system of education should be implemented which enables students to be happier, healthier, compassionate and responsible human beings. The educational institution should be knowledge-centred rather than examination-centred or worse, profit-centred. The Education for Total Consciousness methodology devised by H.H. Swami Isa, is the remedy for these problems, as it takes the student, teacher, parent, and educational system into a new realm based on the science of energy. It bridges objective knowledge with subjective knowledge and makes learning a process of inner realization about one s self and the universe.

4 Training institutions should be established across the nation and worldwide to train educators in the system of Education for Total Consciousness. In addition, a Students Energy Parliament for India should be established, welcoming the brightest and most talented candidates. These recommendations are to be taken to the State and Central Ministry of Education and Human Resources, Ministry of Environment, and Ministry of Power for immediate action. We earnestly request that necessary steps may please be taken to include the enclosed documents and Resolutions of the National Energy Parliament for implementation of the policies to be adopted by the Govt of India for the betterment of the country, and considered by the United Nations to be adopted in other countries. Yours faithfully, Dr. M.R. Thampan Secretary
