Mission was to overthrow the predominately Christian world view that pervaded America and promote socialism among college men and women. They infiltrated their ideas into the college campuses and into the public schools. By 1912 there were chapters in 44 colleges. Thomas W. Higginson Unitarian Minister Founders: Intercollegiate Socialist Society J.G. Phelps Stokes By 1917 there were 61 chapters in schools and 12 in graduate schools. In 1921 they changed their name to The League for Industrial Democracy and entered the mainstream of America s s education elite. By the mid-1930's there were 125 chapters of student study groups of the League for Industrial Democracy. - The American Covenant, Foster; Swanson Clarence Darrow Leader in ACLU Jack London Upton Sinclair Ran for office as Socialist the Democrat 1
2 Woodrow Wilson Elected "Education is thus a most powerful ally of humanism, and every American school is a school of humanism. What can a theistic Sunday school's meeting for an hour once a week and teaching only a fraction of the children do to stem the tide of the five-day program of humanistic teaching?" Created Federal Reserve Bank Federal Trade Commission -Charles F. Potter, "Humanism: A New Religion," 1930 Federal Farm Loan Act First Ever Federal Progressive Income Tax Note: Humanism is the religion of socialists and communists March, 2004 The Year: 1934 President: FDR University of Iowa (IMU) March, 2004 September 2009 May 1, 2011 Come to this meeting to discuss the idea of socialism and socialist strategies for changing the world. Boykin 36 years in the military Green Beret A founding member of Delta Force Commanded Delta force (He was the man Noriega surrendered to in Panama) Commanded the forces in Mogadishu (the operation that was made famous in the movie Blackhawk Down) Deputy undersecretary of defense for Intelligence and over saw covert operations for the CIA for three years Well studied and well trained on Marxist operations and strategies I I have studied Marxism and the things that I know have been done in every Marxist insurgency are being done in America today.... nationalize major sectors of the economy (Bail outs) -General Boykin... redistribute wealth (billions given to favored unions and social organizations)... discredit their opposition (homeland security report)... censorship (media)... gun ownership was controlled (UN small arms treaty?)... Develop a constabulary force "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." Obama (July 2008) What Is Socialism? Thomas Jefferson If we can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people, under the pretence of taking care of them, they must become happy. It is government ownership and control of industry, commerce and property. It is the economic system of Communism. It is government tyranny. You can wash up a pig and call it something else. But a pig is still a pig. Communist Goals Communists published their goals for the United States as early as the 1950 s New Party A.C.O.R.N Socialist & Communist Politicians Bill Ayers Weather Underground Liberal Politcs Hollywood Media Education Get control of the schools; Get control of teachers associations; Soften the curriculum and use schools as a transmission belts for r socialism; Infiltrate the media and gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures; Use environmental movement to destroy business (they thought it was the only vehicle capable of creating enough regulation and red tape to discourage business growth); g Discredit the Bible; Eliminate Prayer in schools; Infiltrate churches and replace revealed religion with social religion; Discredit the family as an institution; Promote cohabitation instead of marriage; Promote homo-sexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as normal, natural, healthy; hy; Get children away from parents into government programs; Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography; Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling it censorship and violation of free speech and free press. 4 Insurgency A revolt or rebellion not well enough organized to be recognized by international law as constituting a state of war. What we are dealing with in America is a Marxist Insurgency seeking to overthrow our government from within. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) United Nations Agenda 21 Agenda 21 is an action plan of the United Nations related to sustainable development. It is a comprehensive blueprint of action to be taken globally, nationally, and locally by organizations of the UN, governments, and major groups in every area in which humans directly affect the environment. -Wikipedia The term was first introduced by the United Nations World Commission on Environment and Development, authored by G. Harlem Brundtland,, VP of the World Socialist Party. The term was first offered as official UN policy in 1992, in a document called UN Agenda 21, issued at the UN s s Earth Summit, today referred to simply as Agenda 21. Sustainablists insist that all society decisions be based on environmental impact, focusing on Global land use Global education Global population control and reduction In 1995, President Bill Clinton signed Executive Order #12858 to create the President s s Council on directing all agencies of the t Federal Government to work with state and local community governments to reinvent government using the guidelines outlined in Agenda whatisagenda21.net Land cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the t market. Private land ownership is also a principle instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth, therefore contributes to social injustice. From the report from the 1976 UN s s Habitat I Conference. Private land use decisions are often driven by strong economic incentives that result in several ecological and aesthetic consequences The key to overcoming it is through public policy Report from the President s s Council on, page 112. Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable. Maurice Strong, Secretary General of the UN s Earth Summit, Agenda 21 and Your Property Who is behind it? Local Governments for Sustainability ICLEI International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives Now simply know as Local Governments for Sustainability Communities arbitrarily pay ICLEI dues to provide local community plans, software, training, etc. How They Sell It. We must make this place an insecure and inhospitable place for Capitalists and their projects we must reclaim the roads and plowed lands, halt dam construction, tear down existing dams, free shackled rivers and return to wilderness tens of millions of acres of presently settled land. -Dave Foreman, Earth First Participating in a UN advocated planning process would very likely ly bring out many of the conspiracy-fixated groups and individuals who fear one-world government [and] would actively work to defeat any elected official who joined [Agenda 21] So we call our process something else, such as comprehensive planning, growth management or smart growth. - J. Gary Lawrence, advisor to President Clinton s s Council on. 4
5 Tyranny by Another Name Tyranny by Another Name the gravest dangers are those which present themselves in new forms, against which people s s minds have not yet been fortified with traditional sentiments and phrases - John Fiske,, the Beginnings of New England The inherited predatory tendency of men to seize upon the fruits of other people s s labor is still very strong, and while we have nothing more to fear from kings, we may yet have trouble enough from commercial monopolies and favored industries, marching to the polls their hordes of bribed retainers. Well indeed has it been said that eternal vigilance is the price of liberty. John Fiske John Fiske - John Fiske,, p. 32 the Beginnings of New England, 1889 Rich Political Tyrants Socialism Confiscation, control and distribution of commodities by Government. No Ownership No Incentive No Productivity Poverty Answer: A moral republic. A nation of laws that prevents monopolies, respects private property, encourages charity, and creates opportunity for all. Right to Life, Liberty, & Pursuit of Happiness Capitalism Ownership, control and distribution of jobs and wages by individuals. Monopolies Greed Oppression Pseudo Slave Labor Session III Part 2 Restoring the Foundations of Liberty Edmond Burke Take Action All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. Inaction in the face of evil is evil. Taking Action What do we do? # 1 Commit your life to Jesus Christ and boldly proclaim Him as Your Lord, Savior, and the coming King. Pray for revival in our land. 5
6 Christian Self-Government "We have no government armed in power capable of contending in human passions unbridled by morality and religion Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other." Christian Self-Government A population that is primarily governed internally by the law of God doesn t need much external government. This concept is the bedrock of freedom; it is the engine of liberty. where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty. -2 Cor 3:17 John Adams -1798, Address to the militia of Massachusetts Liberty Bell Inscription: "PROCLAIM LIBERTY THROUGHOUT ALL THE LAND UNTO ALL THE INHABITANTS THEREOF LEV. XXV X." Taking Action What do we do? # 2 Reject the myth that Jesus Christ and Christians have no place in government and engage. Proverbs 14:34 (NASB) Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a disgrace to any people. The Church must take right ground in politics. [T]he time has come that Christians must vote for honest men and take consistent ground in politics Christians have been exceedingly guilty in this matter. But the time has come when they must act differently Charles Finney Run for office Volunteer to help Taking Action What do we do? # 3 Commit to educating yourself and others. Be informed and vote for those who hold to biblical founding principles that produced our liberty. Join or start a study group that studies the founding principles Incorporate the study of the founding principles in your church or civic organization Host or initiate Seminars Thomas Jefferson Educate Yourself and Others I I know of no safe depositor of the ultimate powers of [a] society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. Tyrants, dictators, and corrupt politicians fear an educated population more than anything. That is why control of the educational systems has been one of their top priorities. 6
