5 ABOUT 3 Event In One The 6th CAMBODIA RICE FORUM will be organized in conjunction with the exhibitions of AGRILIVESTOCK CAMBODIA and AGRIFOOD CAMBODIA 2017, which will be the Biggest Agriculture & Food Event in Cambodia this year. AGRILIVESTOCK CAMBODIA 17 revolves around the growth of the grain and feed production, aquaculture and animal husbandry, and processing industry, while AGRIFOOD CAMBODIA 17 will highlight a range of agriculture supplies and equipment ranging from fertilisers, seeds, and irrigation systems, to farming, harvesting, processing and packaging machinery.

6 Objectives The 6th Cambodia Rice Forum is organized: to mainly promote paddy, rice production and rice export in a new, bigger scale and pace into global market to make Cambodian rice an internationally recognized brand to bring the forefront various key players of the Rice Value Chain to seek for viable solutions to explore and take stock of the current and critical steps taken so far by various public and private local institutions in the pursuit of the export target set as well as dwell into the challenge posed to invite International Buyers/Importers from key markets for Cambodian rice like Western and Eastern Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Asia to have a good opportunity to learn from the various government institutions and private sectors the current and future measures to be undertaken to improve the sector in further development update the progress about Cambodia rice supply chain development and its challenges, its trend and roles and its effects and position in the global rice market. to launch Cambodia Rice National Brand (Certification Mark) to promote farmers through their modern practice and new model of contract farming

Introduction to the Cambodia Rice Forum 2017 Pursuant to the Royal Government of Cambodia s Rice Policy Paper on Promotion of Paddy, Rice Production and Export of Milled Rice which especially aims at promoting paddy, rice production as a key Rice/ White Gold in the global market and export of milled rice to hit ONE MILLION ton by this year 2015, and as a 3-year in a row being a CHAMPION for The World Best Rice, CAMBODIA RICE FEDERATION (CRF) is organizing a CAMBODIA RICE FORUM in Partnership with AMB TARSUS EXHIBITIONS SDN BHD to create a national rice platform gathering the whole rice supply chain in a One-Stop Panel, where all rice stakeholders will meet up, discuss on certain hot topics regarding Cambodian rice issues in relation with the global rice trading and how the raised issues will make a positive impact towards Cambodia rice industry. It is found out that with the current changes of the world rice supply and overwhelm stock from the top rice exporting countries, it has made rice price so globally competitive leading to price dumpling. As one of the rice exporting countries, Cambodia witnessed a slightly-increased rice export volume from year to year even though it is still far beyond what has been expected/targeted in 2015 plan; therefore, The 6th Cambodia Rice Forum will bring all the progresses and developments in the whole rice supply chain to present to the world that Cambodia is ready for Bigger Market with sustainable rice supply and quality at a very competitive cost. II.
