Time to submit nominations for Outstanding Senior Volunteer and Lifetime Fitness Award. These are awarded at the Senior Recognition Day Luncheon in May. 5 National Days NATIONAL CLEAN OUT YOUR COMPUTER DAY Monday, February 12th Observed on the second Monday in February, National Clean Out Your Computer Day is a day to take some time out of your busy schedule to do needed care on your computers. Over time, files and programs that are unused on your PC clog the memory and cause confusion during retrieval and use of other data. They may also slow down your computer. The second Monday in February, Clean Out Your Computer Day, is the day to spend time with your computer! HOW TO OBSERVE, Take a look at your files and programs on your computers: Organize your files and folders. Delete junk files. Delete duplicate files. Delete old files and programs not being used. Use#CleanOutYourComputerDay to post on social media. SAFER INTERNET DAY U.S Tuesday, February 13th Every year Safer Internet Day brings tools, education and awareness to create a safer internet for both kids and adults. From cyber bullying and identity theft to fraud and human trafficking, the internet can be a frightening place. Safer Internet Day and ConnectSafely.org aims to make the internet a better place. CENTER NEEDS Thank you for your continued support of our Center! ************************************************ Fairbanks Concert Association Presents Squirrel Nut Zippers Saturday, February 10th at 7:30pm Hering Auditorium Taikoproject Sunday, March 4th at 4:00pm Hering Auditorium 1st five members on the list get the tickets. If you went to the concert the previous month you will be placed on a waiting list for the tickets at the end of the allotted time if there are still tickets available the center will call you and offer you the tickets.
