The following preliminary updates were presented: Revenues: Income Expense Variance Comments Founder s Day Luncheon 32, , , Rededication Lunch (22.50) Church Donation * , (312.00) This year the committee was extremely focused on budget and keeping cost within line. Additionally, we had a local speaker and fewer honorees that qualified for the additional chapter gift. We had additional revenue based on the number of tickets that were purchased after the November 15 th Date. We had some last minute request for tickets and had to increase the numbers however, those Sorors that requested to attend did not show up to purchase the additional meals Because we had additional funds from the proceeds the founders day committee added money so we could give $1,000 the church scholarship fund We were able to save money due to significant donations from Sorors and the leveraging of relationships to get reduced cost on several items that would have been an expense. 34, , Expenses: Budget Actual Variance Comments Hotel 22, , Photographer (100.00) Corsages Airfare The committee received 3 bids for photography and this was the vendor that provided the lowest bid We did not purchase as many as we had originally budgeted We selected a local speaker and airfare was not required Dallas Alumnae Meeting Minutes Page 15

Additionally, the transportation for the Regional Director and her Daughter was donated by a chapter member We did not have as many honorees that qualified for the additional chapter gift Since we were able to reduce cost in other areas we decided to purchase the fresh flowers for the head table and some additional items for the honoree tables. Soror Terri donated a lot of items to also help to defray the cost. The committee received several quotes and this was the best bid for the services. Additionally, the actual cost of the AV is approximately $15,000 based on the items that we received. Several items were donated by the vendor and they gave us a 50% discount in order to work with our limited budget. This was based on an existing relationship with Soror Thomas We had to pay tax to the vendors that provided the service. We did not pay the labor cost for any of the design, layout or setup for the program. All of this was donated and handled internally Founders' Day Luncheon Ticket Count Income Description Ticket Count $ 29, $ $ 1, $ 1, Pay 15 $ $ 32, Dallas Alumnae Meeting Minutes Page 16
