2 19 Rabiul Al-Akhir 1437 H / 29 th January 2016 PRELIMINARY NOTICE OF 32 ND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING To All Members of the Jamath Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah This is to inform you that the Executive Committee at its meeting held on December 2015 has Decided that the 32 nd Annual General Meeting of the Jamath be held on Sunday 21 st February 2016 In accordance with Article 7 (ii) of the MAMJ Constitution, I hereby give Preliminary Notice of the Annual General Meeting, Which will be held as follows: Date: Sunday, 21 st February 2016 / 12 Jamadil Awal 1437H Place: MAKTAB KERJASAMA MALAYSIA, JALAN TEMPLER, PJS7, PETALING JAYA, SELANGOR Time: 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm By Article 7 (iii) any member who is desirous of moving any motion for discussion or any motion for amendments to the Constitution or having any matter discussed at the Meeting must give notice thereof in writing to Hon Secretary at least 7 days before date of the Meeting. Such notices may be sent to the following address: MAMJ Secretary Suite No 11A, Jalan Lawan Pedang 13/27, Tadisma Business Park, Shah Alam, Selangor The Notice of meeting, the Agenda and other relevant documents will be forwarded to you in due course. This is an election year and elections will be held to elect a new Executive Committee. The office bearers to be elected are: President, A Deputy President, A Secretary, an Assistant Secretary, A Treasurer and 7 ordinary Committee Members. It s the prerogative of the President to appoint 3 of the ordinary Committee Members. 1

3 Members wishing to nominate any Member of the Jamath for any of these posts may give notice of the same in writing to me. Another Member should second the nomination. The consent of the Member nominated should be obtained before he/she is nominated. The proposer, the seconder and the Member nominated should be present at the AGM for the nomination to be placed before the Members at the AGM. The Member nominated must be a citizen of Malaysia. Nominations can also be made at the AGM. Wassalam.
