We have contributed to women running for elected office, as well as statewide candidates, and have also assisted them in many other ways. Mission statement, Our PAC was created to promote individuals seeking office who demonstrates promise for women and our party. We want to be a part of aiding in a worthy campaign. 5 To provide financial assistance in the General Election to help elect qualified statewide Pennsylvania Democratic candidates and qualified women candidates to all public office in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.. To develop a network of campaign and financial support resources for qualified Democratic candidates seeking public office. Criteria: The following factors will be considered upon review of application (s) for contributions:. 1. Qualifications for office sought 2. Existence of financial need 3. Existence and nature of competition 4. Campaign significance (targeted) 5. Prior political experience Screening Committee: The following members will comprise the screening committee: Women s caucus Chair, PAC Treasurer, Women s Caucus Treasurer and Members as selected by the Chair The Screening Committee will: Receive all PAC application requests Review for completeness and accuracy Prioritize need Recommend individuals for funding with recommended contribution amount to the Women s Caucus for action Contributions will be awarded by Women s caucus vote Ensure contributions are prior to General Election All contributions pending funds available in respective PAC We may follow up with a phone screening..
