Election Results: Pass Fail (57%) Benton County Advisory Vote (Measure 02-81) Taxing District: City of Corvallis Urge elected representatives to support constitutional amendment denying artificial entities personhood and rejecting their money as speech. Election Results: Pass (75%) Fail Clackamas County Charter Amendment (Measure ) Taxing District: City of Damascus Limit spending growth rate to no more than a 2.5% annual increase. Limit could be exceeded by unanimous council vote and primary or general election vote. Election Results: Pass (64%) Fail Charter Amendment (Measure ) Taxing District: City of Damascus Request that Metro amend UGB to only include land needed to provide housing and urban services. Election Results: Pass (53%) Fail Coos County Charter Amendment (Measure ) Taxing District: Coos County Change governance model from County Government to Home Rule. Expand number of paid commissioners from three to five, require voter approval prior to execution of contracts in excess of $100,000, and creation of urban renewal districts or enterprise zones. Election Results: Pass Fail (74%) Referral (Measure ) Taxing District: Coos County Change board of commissioners from three salaried members to five unsalaried members and create a county administrator position. Current commissioners annual salary is $60,660. Election Results: Pass Fail (69%) Jackson County Advisory Vote (Measure ) Taxing District: City of Ashland Instruct Congress to change the federal Constitution so corporations, unions, and other legislatively-created entities not be equated with persons regarding constitutional rights (limitations on campaign contributions and spending could then be enacted). Election Results: Pass (79%) Fail City Incorporation/Permanent Tax Rate Authority (Measure ) Taxing District: White City Permanent Tax Rate Authority From city between Medford and Eagle Point that provides services such as planning and road development and improvement (8,550 residents and 2,191 acres). $1.45 cents per $1,000 of assessed value. Election Results: Pass (74%) Fail Multnomah County Charter Amendment (Measure ) Taxing District: City of Gresham Charter amendment to require mayor be elected at large and councilors to be elected in one of six districts. Election Results: Pass Fail (57%) Charter Amendment (Measure ) Taxing District: City of Wood Village Charter amendment to authorize development of casino and entertainment center in Wood Village. Election Results: Pass Fail (53%) Charter Amendment (Measure ) Taxing District: City of Portland Charter amendment to make changes to the provisions of the police and fire disability retirement system.
