Prayer was offered by the Reverend Harald Bringsjord, Baudette Lutheran Parish, Baudette, Minnesota. The members of the House gave the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. The roll was called and the following members were present: Abeler Albright Allen Anderson, M. The Chief Clerk proceeded to read the Journal of the preceding day. There being no objection, further reading of the Journal was dispensed with and the Journal was approved as corrected by the Chief Clerk.

SUSPENSION OF RULES Loeffler moved that the rules be so far suspended that S. F. No. 654 be substituted for H. F. No. 820 and that the House File be indefinitely postponed. The motion prevailed. S. F. No. 661 and H. F. No. 863, which had been referred to the Chief Clerk for comparison, were examined and found to be identical with certain exceptions. SUSPENSION OF RULES Winkler moved that the rules be so far suspended that S. F. No. 661 be substituted for H. F. No. 863 and that the House File be indefinitely postponed. The motion prevailed. S. F. No. 685 and H. F. No. 1557, which had been referred to the Chief Clerk for comparison, were examined and found to be identical with certain exceptions. SUSPENSION OF RULES Hilstrom moved that the rules be so far suspended that S. F. No. 685 be substituted for H. F. No and that the House File be indefinitely postponed. The motion prevailed. S. F. No. 693 and H. F. No. 482, which had been referred to the Chief Clerk for comparison, were examined and found to be identical with certain exceptions.
