1 CLEAN COMMUNITY COMMITTEE WHEREAS, the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors has created the Clean Community Committee to address issues of beautification of the County, as well as litter control; and WHEREAS, the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors has learned that appointments are needed to this Committee; and WHEREAS, the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors is now ready to make these appointments. Supervisors that the following individual be hereby (re)appointed to the Gloucester County Clean Community Committee for terms that shall expire December 31, 2018, February 28, 2020 and March 31, Page 91

2 COLONIAL GROUP HOME COMMISSION WHEREAS, the Colonial Group Home Commission was formed to provide alternative sentencing options for juveniles in our area; and WHEREAS, Gloucester County, as a member of the Colonial Group Home Commission, is responsible for appointing a member to serve on it. Supervisors that is hereby (re)appointed to the Colonial Group Home Commission for a term to end on February 28, Page 92

3 GO GREEN GLOUCESTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE WHEREAS, the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors has created the Go Green Gloucester Advisory Committee to determine, research, analyze and propose methods for Gloucester County to promote and implement green technology within the County; and WHEREAS, the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors is the appointing authority for said Committee; and WHEREAS, the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors has learned that an appointment is needed to this Committee. Supervisors that the following individual be hereby appointed to the Go Green Gloucester Advisory Committee for a term which shall begin immediately and shall expire December 31, Page 93

4 RESOLUTION FOR THE GOVERNING BODY OF GLOUCESTER COUNTY, A MEMBER OF THE MIDDLE PENINSULA BROADBAND AUTHORITY, TO APPOINT A REGULAR MEMBER TO SERVE ON THE MIDDLE PENINSULA BROADBAND AUTHORITY WHEREAS, the Middle Peninsula Broadband Authority (the Authority ) was established on May 14, 2010 by concurrent resolution of the counties of Essex, Gloucester, King William, and Mathews to facilitate the provision of affordable broadband service to businesses, governmental agencies, and the general public, in the best interests of the general welfare of the citizens of each county; and WHEREAS, the County of Middlesex has taken action, by Resolution adopted by its Board of Supervisors on December 18, 2012 to join the Authority as a Member Locality; and WHEREAS, the Authority, in accordance with A. of the Code of Virginia, has amended Article 2 of its by-laws to increase the size of its Board from four members to five members, one from each participating locality; and WHEREAS, as stated in Article 2 of the Bylaws the Authority Board shall request the governing body of each member jurisdiction to appoint a regular member and an alternate to serve in the absence of the regular board member; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors reappoints J. Brent Fedors as its regular member to serve on the Middle Peninsula Broadband Authority for a term which shall expire on February 28, Page 94

5 MOSQUITO CONTROL COMMISSION WHEREAS, the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors has previously appointed the Gloucester County Mosquito Control Commission to administer the mosquito control program in the County; and WHEREAS, the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors has learned an appointment is needed to this Commission; and WHEREAS, the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors is now ready to make this appointment. Supervisors that the following individual be hereby appointed to the Gloucester County Mosquito Control Commission to fill an unexpired term which shall begin immediately and shall expire on December 31, Page 95
