9 Premise (Health Care is a Right) We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

World Health Organization (WHO) O Single-payer health coverage: O Single-payer national health insurance, also known as Medicare for all, is a system in which a single public or quasi-public agency organizes health care financing, but the delivery of care remains largely in private hands. 43 Redistricting Reform O Legislation has been proposed to reform how redistricting happens in PA. O SB22 13 cosponsors to date O HB cosponsors to date O Redistricting reform will require a Constitutional amendment. O Redistricting reform may have an opportunity to move forward at this time.
44 Redistricting Reform Fair Districts PA is a coalition of citizens and nonprofits, led by Common Cause PA and the League of Women Voters, who believe that in American democracy, elections should represent the will of all the people, not just the politicians, and should provide citizens with meaningful choices in electing representatives. 45 Redistricting Reform The Committee of Seventy supports redistricting reform. Their website also contains information about redistricting.
46 League of Women Voters The League of Women Voters is a citizens organization that has fought since 1920 to improve government and engage all citizens in the decisions that impact their lives. The centerpiece of the League s efforts remain to expand participation and give a voice to all Americans. They do this at all three levels of government, engaging in both broad educational efforts as well as advocacy.
47 Common Cause PA Common Cause Pennsylvania (CCPA) is a government reform organization in Pennsylvania. They are a non-profit, non-partisan, citizen-led advocacy organization working to hold government accountable and make government responsive to the needs of its citizens. For over four decades CCPA has worked to build a better democracy at the state, local and national levels through citizen action. CCPA provides leadership through grassroots organizing, creative coalition building, aggressive lobbying, in-depth research, public education, and when necessary, through litigation.

50 Voting Improvements Keystone Votes is a nonpartisan coalition of advocacy and community organizations joined together to launch a coordinated campaign to update Pennsylvania s election system.
51 Campaign Finance O For State elected offices, there is no contribution limit by individuals, PACs or any other entity permitted to contribute. O For Federal elected offices, an individual can donate $2,700 per election to a candidate committee. O In 2010, an individual contributed $100,000 to the PA Republican Gubernatorial candidate.
