Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration Las Vegas Area Office Alan Bible Federal Building 600 Las Vegas Blvd. S., Suite 750 Las Vegas, NV This is in response to your letter Dear Mr. James Aymann: dated September 16, I am a 70-year-old combat veteran of the Vietnam War with a 70% service-connected disability. I am the author of an expanding website titled One Man s Fight against Corruption. This expanding website contains approximately 800 pages and has recently been copyrighted with the federal government.

3 If you Google One Man s Fight against Corruption and left click Episode 12, you will find every bit of information that you will need to conduct your investigation. Any statements submitted on my website, to include Episode 12, are supported with documents and exhibits, otherwise they would not be included. I want to establish that the State of Nevada is arguably the most corrupt state in the Union.

4 Your letter indicates that I alleged specific inadequacies. CSHO did not document interview statements reflecting what the witness said. Employees interviewed during the inspection were not advised of their whistleblower protections. These inadequacies are just the tip of the iceberg and most certainly does not reflect the complaints that I submitted in an open letter to Secretary of Labor Thomas E Perez. This open letter to the Secretary of Labor has been included in Episode 15 of my website and has been on the Internet since August 2015 My former employer during the crushing injury to my left foot was Freeman Exposition Inc. Freeman Exposition Inc. is a multibillion-dollar family owned corporation. Freeman Exposition Inc. is self insured, reassured by the fact that they can control and manipulate OSHA, Workmen s Compensation, the labor unions and the courts. Freeman Exposition Inc. does not have any safety programs in place! Freeman Exposition Inc. has never offered any safety classes to any of its employees! Freeman Exposition Inc. is a dangerous company to work for.

5 There are numerous convention workers that will not work for Freeman Exposition Inc. Freeman Exposition Inc. manipulated and controlled the OSHA investigation of the crushing injury to my left foot! OSHA Investigator Kym Heckman is a trickster, cheat and a liar. I submit that it has been Standard Operational Procedure to manipulate, downplay and/or diminish the severity and culpability of serious injuries to include fatalities by OSHA of Nevada. What is happening is that workers as a result of their employer s negligence are being seriously injured and even killed. Companies/corporations such as Freeman Exposition Inc., have actuarial analysts that determine what the cost for a project would be if it were performed safely with a minimum of injuries versus unsafely whereby the resultant negligent injuries could be manipulated and be more cost effective! Once again, OSHA of Nevada has been part of this despicable corruption for decades and this corruption continues to this day! Your letter states, Please be aware that Federal OSHA is not an office of appeal for an individual who is dissatisfied with a decision or finding resulting from a state investigation or hearing. If you wish to contest a state decision or finding, an appeal should be made to the appropriate state agency or court.

6 Open Letters have been sent to Kym Heckman OSHA Investigator, Bruce Breslow Director Nevada Department of Business and Industry, to Jess Lankford- Chief Administrative Assistant OSHA of Nevada and Elliott T. Anderson Nevada Assemblyman and Hard copies were sent with certificates of mailing to all these individuals. To date, there have been no responses to these Open Letters by any of these individuals. At this point I wish to clear up any confusion. OSHA of Nevada manipulates their investigations of serious injuries and fatalities to benefit big business! OSHA of Nevada is a sham! The quandary that I m facing right now is to determine what the level of corruption is at the Federal level versus the corruption in the State of Nevada! I expect you to read Episode 12 of my website One Man s Fight Against Corruption in its entirety. Don Reed, the reckless forklift operator that crushed my left foot, dragged a security guard over 30 feet by door 41 of the South Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center three months after he crushed my left foot! This was covered up by Freeman Exposition Inc., the Las Vegas Convention Center, OSHA of Nevada, and the Teamsters Union.

7 To this day, my left foot is in severe pain! I have to walk deliberately, if I speed up I start to limp. I need to have cortisone injected into my left foot every two months at my expense! To this day, I have to take pain pills on a regular basis. Individuals, such as myself, have been victimized by serious injury involving gross negligence by the employer. Individuals that have been seriously injured such as myself, are regularly victimized again by corrupt government agencies to include OSHA of Nevada Workmen s Compensation of Nevada, unscrupulous lawyers, corrupt politicians, corrupt state agencies and officials and of course the courts that are in the pockets of big business! Of course, this open letter will be on the Internet with links to include episode 12 and episode 15. This open letter will be ed to you as an attachment and a hard copy will be mailed to you with a certificate of mailing. In James R. Aymann

12 OSHA Investigator Kym Heckman did not formally document statements submitted by the injured party James R. Aymann and Dennis Love the only eyewitnesses to the injury. Eye witnessed Dennis Love was laid off by employer Freeman Exposition Inc. the day after the injury and the same day of that the investigation commenced. Employer Freeman Exposition Inc. refused to allow injured employee James R. Aymann to return to work after he was cleared by his doctor! Signed statements by James R. Aymann and Dennis Love to OSHA of Nevada do not exist! The fraudulent statements in this letter only compounds the corruption and cover-up that James R. Aymann and subsequently Dennis Love have experienced by Freeman Exposition Inc., the Teamsters Union and OSHA!
