Appointed as first Director of the Centre (2014) Started Chinese language classes for One Semester Certificate (2015) Started research program related to China: For that matter established library and selected students of M Phil classes who will be facilitated to undertake research in the Centre Organized an International Conference on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (2015) where more than 50 scholars (30 local and 20 foreign) read their papers. Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Federal Mister for planning and development Mr Ahsan Iqbal were the Chief Guests to inaugural session and concluding sessions respectively. Secretary, Executive Committee, GCU Endowment Fund Trust In 2003, was appointed first Secretary of Executive Committee of GCU Endowment Fund Trust. Since then has been arranging various fund-raising events and collected more than Three Hundred and Seven Million Rupees (Rs Million) for the Trust which had been established to provide financial help to the deserving and needy students to complete their studies. Every year, hundreds of students are being benefited by funds of the trust. This success story has been proven a unique example in public sector universities and become a Role Model to help the helpless students by generating own sources. Details see website: Honorary Secretary, Old Ravians Union (Alumni association) The Union was established for the welfare of former students and development of GC University. It is a social and recreational forum, where former students meet and greet each other. Besides keep the link alive between old students and Alma Mater. The forum 7 / 9

Since 1996, in the capacity of Honorary Secretary not only running the Union but also has been arranging various social, academic, cultural, sports and fundraising events.
