2 Nuclear Suppliers Group curbing the trade in conflict minerals. The new law will clean up mineral and metal trade by enhancing due diligence obligations in sourcing tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold, essential for consumer electronics. Increased traceability in mineral-supply chains will contribute to breaking the link between trade and armed conflict.
