1 04 Survey of Crime Risk Assessment Strategies in the United States This survey investigates the various components employed to assess crime risk and to defend against litigation and also examines recent crime trends. You can benchmark your own strategies and experiences against those of the study participants. The results are anonymous; the names of the respondents and their companies/entities were not gathered for this survey. There were a total of 336 surveys completed. As can be seen below, these responses came from a broad range of industries and a variety of company sizes. In the pages that follow, results are provided for all industries combined and for the three industries that have 50 or more participants (Banking, Healthcare, and Retail). Response rates varied for each individual question. The total number of responses is indicated for each result. Which best describes your industry? How many U.S. locations does your company have?
