1 This indenture made the ninth day of February one thousand eight hundred and seventy five between D W Lewis of the first part and Elisha Daly George Darling and Peter Van Maurin Trustee of Sylvan School District Center Township of the second part witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and reconsideration of the sum of one hundred dollars wherein in hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before the???? and the delivery of these????? whereby is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained, sold???? reused released conveyed and confirmed and by these??? does grant bargain sell alieu revive release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to other successors forever for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of Sylvan School District for School purposes towit all the following described land commencing at the NE corner of the SW fourth of the north west quarter of Sec 26 Township Dev. WR&E Mount Dablo Meridian hence north 26 roads 11 feet to the SE corner of Sylvan Burying Ground hence west 12 Roads hence south 66 roads, and 11 feet-to the Orbern Road thru East 12 Roads hence north 40 roads to the??? of beginning containing five acre which includes the sacred ground upon which the Sylvan School House stands within its bounds. Together with all and singular the tenancies??? and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the??versum and reversions??? and????? rents issues and forfeits thereof and also all the estate right-title interest property possession claim and discard whatsoever as well in law as???? of the said party of the first part of in or to the above described premises and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances to have an to hold all and singular the above mentioned and described from ises together with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part and their successors forever and the said D W Lewis heirs the said???? in quiet and forceable possession of the said party of the second part and their successors and assigns again to said party of the first part and heirs and against all and every person and persons whom soever lawfully claiming is to claim the same shall and will warrant and by these presents forever defund on witness whereof the said party of the first part has here unto set-?????? the day and year first above written.

3 F.E. Michele With Louis Lepelit In agreed on this fourth day of February 1875 Eileen Francis E. Mitchell of the County of Sac execute of the first part and Louis Lepelit of the County of El Dorado of the second part is follows to wit: Said parties have bargained said first party to sell and the second part to buy and pay for certain land in the County of Sacramento to and State of California to wit: the fraction of the south half of the south east quarter of section nine tccu (19) lying east of the Stockton Road containing seventy acres in Township No S North Range No 5 East Mount Diablo base and Meridian. Also the fraction W ¼ of SW ½ of Sectiion twenty (20) in same Township and Range Containing forty acres (40) acres Macking in all one hundred and ten acres, togethers with all improvements privileges and appurtenances therewith belonging. The payments are to be as follows One Hundred Dollars in gold coins without interest to be paid on or before November 20 th 1873-and fifteen??? by the said party of the second part at or before the onseeing and delivery of these presents the receipts whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained sold alieved re??? released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents does grant bargain sell alieu remise release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to their successors forever for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of Sylvan School District for a burying ground all the following described land towit commencing at the North East corner of NW quarter of Sec 26 Township Ten North Range Six East Mount Diable Meridian hence west is Roads hence South S-3 Roads 5 feet 6 inches whereas East 12 Road whereas N 53 Road 5 feet six inches to the place of the beginning containing four acres wich includes within it bounds the present Sylvan Grave yard. Together with all and singular the tenancies here d??? and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise affectaining and the reversion and reversions recurrancer and remainders??? and forfeits others of and also all the estate right-title interest-property possession claim and demand whatsoever as well inlaw in equity of the said party of the first part of in or the above described premises and

4 every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances. To have and to hold all and signee for the above mentioned and described premises together with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part-and their successors forever and the said D W Lewis his heirs the said premises in quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the seemed part and their successors and against the said party of the first part heirs and against all and every person and persons whomsoever lawfully claiming onto claim the same place and wise warrant and by these processes forever defend in witness whereof the said party of the first part has hereunto set hand and seal the day and year first above written D W Lewis
