1 Page 1 of RESOLUTION NO A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA ("COUNTY"), AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY TO CONVEY CERTAIN COUNTY-OWNED RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG PEMBROKE ROAD TO THE CITY OF PEMBROKE PINES BY QUITCLAIM DEED; AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE SAME; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Broward County ("County") holds title to the right-of-ways which are described in the legal description referenced within the Quitclaim Deed attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A" ("Property"); and WHEREAS, Section , Florida Statutes, provides that public roads may be transferred between jurisdictions only by mutual agreement of the affected governmental entities; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Agreement between the County, the City of Pembroke Pines, and the City of Miramar executed on June 3, 2003, as amended on June 26, 2012, the County agreed to convey the Property to the City of Pembroke Pines and the City of Pembroke Pines agreed to accept transfer of the Property, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA: Section 1. incorporated by reference herein. The recitals set forth in the preamble to this Resolution are

2 Page 2 of Section 2. For good and sufficient consideration, the Board authorizes the conveyance of the Property to the City of Pembroke Pines. Section 3. The Mayor or Vice Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Quitclaim Deed to the City of Pembroke Pines in the form attached hereto as Exhibit "A," and such other related documents, if any, as needed to affect the conveyance. Section 4. SEVERABILITY. If any portion of this Resolution is determined by any Court to be invalid, the invalid portion shall be stricken, and such striking shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this Resolution. If any Court determines that this Resolution, or any portion hereof, cannot be legally applied to any individual(s), group(s), entity(ies), property(ies), or circumstance(s), such determination shall not affect the applicability hereof to any other individual group, entity, property, or circumstance. Section 5. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Resolution shall become effective upon its adoption.
