ORGANISING COMMITTEE Mr. Terra Rui Organizing committe Clube Tiro O Pinhal Vales de Pêra Silves Portugal ctopinhal@gmail.com Tel: Mobile: RANGE The competition will take place at the very well known Shooting Range Clube de Tiro O Pinhal Silves Portugal, which is equipped with 6 Universal ranges and 5 Olympic ranges and 4 Compack Sporting and Sporting ranges. It s located in the south of Portugal (Algarve) at a distance of 45 km from Faro Airport and 230 km from Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. O Pinhal Shooting Centre has full cafeteria and restaurant facilities that can offer meals, lunch, dinner etc. at very reasonable prices. 4. CLAY TARGET THROWING MACHINES The Range uses the most modern equipment available for the launching of clay targets (Matarelli). 5. CLAY TARGETS The color of the clay targets that will be used during the competition will be orange (VIVAZ manufactured by VIVAZ,S.L. from Spain). 6. RULES AND REGULATIONS The competition will be conducted according to the FITASC Rules and Regulations.

3 7. ARRIVAL AND REGULATIONS Portugal through its main international airport in Faro (Algarve) offers excellent travel connections worldwide. 8. CATEGORIES Senior, Junior, Veteran, Super Veteran, Lady. 9. ENTRY FEES & TRAINING National Team. 95,00 Individual entry for senior, lady, veteran, superveteran. 200,00 Individual entry for junior. 120,00 Training fee for 25 clay targets. 7, JURY-APPEAL, JURY-RANGE, REFEREES A Jury and a Jury of Appeal that will be designated by the FITASC will supervise the competition. Qualified Range Referees holding a valid official FITASC Referee license will officiate at the competition. 11. EXCHANGE RATES The currency of Portugal is the Euro. The exchange rate of the Euro to the U.S. dollar as of October 2011, is 1 EUR = 1.38 US$. 12. WEATHER INFORMATION The climatic conditions in Portugal in the month of September are normally as follows: Average maximum : 26 C (+) Average minimum : 18 C (+) Average relative humidity. 76%

5 06-09 SEPTEMBER 2012 FORMALITIES 1. ENTRY VISAS Portugal is a member of the European Union and Shengen agreement. Shooters and officials possessing a valid passport can enter Portugal through Faro international airport or other border without any problem. A minimum number of nationalities, which are not members of the European Union, will require entry visas. Those must be obtained from the nearest Portugal consular departments abroad. The Organizing Committee will be ready if necessary to supply special invitation letters to all those nationalities which require a visa to enter Portugal. (Please, do not hesitate to contact the Organizing Committee for any help or other necessary documentation)!

CUSTOM FORMALITIES All participants (except those holding a European Firearms Pass) will be requested upon arrival at Faro airport or other border, to present to customs one temporary gun permit. In order to obtain a temporary individual gun permit all shooters coming from outside Europe must fill this form: Attention! Deadline to send this form is 06 th August European firearm pass holders must present the pass at customs upon arrival, also. All delegations will be escorted through customs at the time of arrival. The gun permits or the European firearms pass must be presented to customs at the time of departure before check-in. 3. AMMUNITION Will be available in the Clube de Tiro O Pinhal Ammunitions such as B&P, RC, Vinci, Rio, Winchester, J.L. and Melior. 4. STORAGE FOR GUNS AND AMMUNITION Holders of a temporary gun permit or a European firearms pass are allowed to carry and store freely their weapons and ammunition at their hotels during their stay in Portugal.
