ISOF_135_2015_BO Marie Slodowska Curie ESR Position in the area of study and development of nanocomposites and advanced Scanning Probe Microscopies EU Project iswitch project n H2020 MSCA-ITN-2014-ETN - One position for Assegno di Ricerca tip. d) grant - ESR (Early Stage Researcher) contract for 36 months is available in the group of Dr. Vincenzo Palermo at ISOF-CNR, Bologna, Italy. TOPIC The prospective candidate will carry out European-funded research in the area of (opto)electronic supramolecular devices within a network of highly specialized groups from European leading laboratories from academia and industry. The ESR activity at CNR-ISOF will focus on preparation of supramolecular organic assembles, graphene-based composites and their morphological and electrical characterization at nanoscale by using advanced scanning probe microscopies. PROFILE Early-Stage Researcher (ESR) shall, at the time of recruitment by the host organisation, be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and not yet have been awarded a doctoral degree. Preferential titles are listed below: - Master in Chemistry, Material Science - Experience in mass- and UV-vis spectroscopies - Experience in chromatography (TLC) and UHPLC methods - Biosensors - Experiences at European universities (out of the country of origin) - Work experience at chemical / pharmaceutical / food industries is a preferential condition Applicants could be European citizens (from EU Member States or Associated Countries) but also other Third Countries candidates from overseas are eligible (i.e. USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, India, China, etc.). Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (i.e. work, studies) in Italy for more than 12 months during the last 3 years.
