2 Reasons Diferent spatial development documents on state level Various forms, contents, structure large variety, diversity Question of cross border relations, mutualties problem of interpretation LOST IN TRANSLATION Do we need to take a common view of an area and find common speech? What to pursue, how and what to express?
3 The document deals with: Working objectives 1) delineation of development areas and development axes of a transnational importance 2) delineation of transport corridors of a transnational importance Aims of the document: to express in a unified way both thematic spheres (development areas and axes and transport corridors of a transnational improtance) within the investigated area, whereas the material will comprise the part describing the state, so the proposed/suggested part

5 V4+2: June 2008, Ministerial meeting in Prague, Czech Republic Conlusions (Article 8): We recognize the importance of spatial planning in strengthening territorial cohesion and are committed to elaborate a common document on spatial development of the Visegrad group countries, which also includes Bulgaria and Romania and which may be extended to other neighbouring Member States in the future.
