1 IV INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF LEGAL STUDIES AND I INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON LAW RESEARCH LABOR, TECHNOLOGIES, MULTINATIONAL AND MIGRATION - TTMMs "Contemporary challenges and expansion of human rights on the global democratic order " Federal University of Minas Gerais -UFMG Belo Horizonte, April 17, 18, 19 and 20, 2018 PAPERS SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES 1. ABOUT THE EVENTS The joint events, IV International Conference of Legal Studies and I International Seminar on Law Research - Labor, Technologies, Multinational and Migration (TTMMs), to be held from 17 to April 20, 2018, in Belo Horizonte, at the Law School of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, will have as their central themes the contemporary challenges and the expansion of human rights in the global democratic order in the areas of Labor, Technology, Multinational and Migration in multidisciplinary horizons. With international reach, the events which are under the organization of the Union Law Study Group GEDIS, International Study Group on Internet, Innovation and intellectualproperty GNet, The Reference Institute on Internet and Society IRIS, Brazilian Observatory of Private International Law, Dialogues Center by the State of Minas Gerais - NUDEM and the Program of Postgraduate Studies in Law at the Federal University of Minas Gerais Law School, are designed as a result of collaborative research partnerships between the Federal University of Minas Gerais, PUC Minas, Federal University of Sergipe, Federal University of Pernambuco, Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, Curitiba University Center, Federal University of Goiás, Federal University of Espírito Santo, University of Brasilia-UNB,contemplating their postgraduate programs in Law and cooperative foreign universities and scientific organizations and relevant professionals in the field, among which stand out the Asociación Iberoamericana de Derecho del Trabajo y Seguridad Social - AIDTSS, the Italo-Brazilian Institute of Labor Law, the Judicial School of the 3rd Region Labor Court, the Order of Lawyers of Brazil - Section of Minas Gerais, among others. The events intend to establish a high level interdisciplinary discussion about law and its political, regulatory and social dimensions around the changes generated by the analytical axis TTMMs - Labor, Technologies, Multinationals and Migration, as well as to structure and consolidate international research partnerships, counting with an specific programming for Thematic Specialized meetings (RETs) with collaborative research strategies between participating research groups.
2 2. TARGET AUDIENCE Postgraduate, graduate and undergraduate students of Law Schools and related scientific fields, teachers, researchers, experts and others interested in these areas. 3. STRUCTURAL STANDARDS FOR ARTICLE SUBMISSION 3.1 The articles should be unpublished. 3.2 All submissions must be written conform the ABNT s standards, observing the following requirements: will be accepted articles (PDF file) in Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, French and English, that hold at least 08 and no more than 15 pages, in A4, vertical position Source "Times New Roman"; body 12; justified alignment; 1.5 line spacing; Paragraph 1.5 cm; Top and left margins with three (3) cm and lower and right with two (2) cm; Citations (NBR 10520/2002) and references (NBR 6023/2002) must comply with the ABNT s standards The reference system for direct or indirect quotations may be author-date or number (NBR 10520/2002), with footnotes that are only explanatory (NBR 6022/2003) Following what is disposed on the NBR 6024/2003, titles and subtitles should be aligned to the left and contain a related text, as well as contain progressive numbering. 4. AUTHOR 4.1 will be admitted a maximum of 03 (three) authors per article. 4.2 undergraduate work, graduates and experts will be admitted if drawn up in coauthorship with at least a master / master's student and / or doctor /doctoral student. Only for special GT 22 (Old and new Italian migrations in Brazil and in Minas Gerais) It will be exceptionally admitted submission, under the judgment of the Organizing Committee, and only for presentation purposes in the event (excluded, in principle, publication in the proceedings) of works written by graduate students, graduates and experts with proven experience and knowledge of the Italian migrations. In this case, the author must send the article, along with an authorization to submission, to the Organizing Committee at the address seminariottmms@gmail.com indicating their titles and documents that demonstrate the qualities required for integration into the GT 22. After the submission s acceptance by e- mail, work will undergo double anonymous evaluation. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to seek alternative ways to publication of articles written just by undergraduates, graduates or specialist exclusively for the GT The author who makes an article submission is solely responsible for including the name of other author as well as for defining the order of the names in the presentation. 4.4 The authorship s confirmation of the listed authors should be carried out by the author in the "Restricted Area" until February 17, 2018, at, precisely, 23 hours and 59 minutes, under penalty of having their name deleted.
3 4.5 After the article submission authors inclusions and changing in the names order will not be accepted. 5. ARTICLES SUBMISSION 5.1 The articles will be received until precisely up to 23 hours and 59 minutes. 5.2 Each author may submit a maximum of 02 (two) articles for presentation at the event, since the articles have being sent to different working groups, in accordance with Annex II. 5.3 For article submission is necessary to completely fill the individual registration on the CONPEDI site, whether are you a Brazilian or a foreign author. If the participant is not a CONPEDI s associated it is not required to pay the entity's annuity, just being necessary the subscription of the individual registration in the CONPEDI S site; 5.4 The articles should be submitted exclusively via the "Public Law" system, located in the associated area, available on the CONPEDI site, strictly following the specifications of this notice and the procedures laid down in the system itself. 5.5 The process of submission, in the Public Law system, will take place in three stages, as described below: FIRST STEP - Fill all article identification data: choice of GT, following what s on Attachment II; Article s title in the language which it is written (Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, French and English); Article s summary in the language which it is written with a maximum of one hundred (100) words; Inclusion of at least three (03) keywords, in the language which is written the text; Article s title in English; Summary in English with a maximum of one hundred (100) words; Inclusion of at least three (03) keywords in English STEP Authors report: If the article has a single author, you must first check whether the name entered in the system is correct, for only then to proceed to the next step Where the article has two (02) or three (3) authors, proceed as follows: a) Search the name of the second and third author in the blank space; b) Once located, select (s) their names; c) Confirm if the second / third author was / were duly informed Authors must disclose additional data such as title, institution to which they are linked, name of the research funding, among other information. They may do so within the limit of thirty (30) words. Therefore, one should proceed as instructed below: Report their respective qualification in the text box below the author's name. Confirm that the qualification was reported correctly. Do the same with the second and third author, if the case In order to the names of the second and third author indicated correclty appear in the article, after the completion of the submission process, they must access the associated area and accept the authorship of the article, under penalty of having their names not registered as an author.
4 5.6.3 THIRD STAGE - File Submission in PDF format, BETWEEN 08 AND 15 PAGES The PDF file should contain the article s information beggining at its introduction, including objectives, methodologies, research development, conclusions and references The PDF file may not contain: a) Name of the authors - the authors' names will appear only when these are mentioned, but may not be identified as that article s authors; b) Title; c) Summary; d) Abstract; e) Key words; f) Page numbering After the article submission will not be accepted any replacement, repair, alteration or content of any kind Articles submitted to the "Public Law" System will go thru editorial review. Those who do not observe this public notice rules will have their articles disqualified. 6. ASSESSMENT 6.1 All submitted papers will be evaluated in two stages. Stage I - Reviewers will evaluate if the items meet the requirements of this Notice. In the event of non-compliance, the article will be disqualified. Stage II - Articles approved by the reviewers will be sent to the Evaluation Committee, which will judge the merit of the work. Note (NT) will be allocated from 0.0 (zero) to 10.0 (ten), according to the following items: a) Title, abstract and keywords are relevant? b) The English version of the title, abstract and keywords are appropriate? c) The topic is current, relevant and original? d) The objectives are clear and relevant? e) The methodology used is adequate and qualified? f) The paper presents conceptual and theoretical consistency? g) The article s approach is clear and profound? h) The bibliography used is consistent, current and relevant? i) The conclusions are clear and consistent and can answer the research problem? j) The article is well written and the text is well organized (spelling, grammar, clarity, objectivity, formal structure, quotes according to the rules of ABNT)? 6.2. Will be considered aproved the articles that are evaluated with average grade of seven (7,0) or upper. 6.3 The list of approved articles will be published on the site up until the day 28/02/2018.
5 6.4 Among the articles who achieve average 7.0 (seven) in each area (average of the grades given in the evaluation) may be selected 12 (twelve) articles for presentation. 6.5 Regardless the limit established in the previous ítem, will also be considered classified the articles who, reaching average 7.0, end tied up in the latest position of each Working Group. 6.6 If certain working groups count with a large number of high qualified articles, proven by the evaluations, the organization can subdivide these groups; likewise, if some working groups present a low number of high qualified articles they can all be set in a single Working Group (WG). 6.7 There shall be no appeal against the final decision of the evaluation at any stage of the event. 7. PRESENTATION OF THE WORKING GROUP (WG) 7.1 Each working group will have two to three coordinators, at the discretion of the Organizing Committee, which will be responsible for the presentation order and moderating discussions. 7.2 Each participant will have ten (10) minutes for the theme s presentation. After that time, will be awarded over five (05) minutes for the WG Coordinators guidelines and other observations and comments from other WG s participants. 7.3 will not be allowed the use of multimedia equipment (data show, computers etc.) for the presentations. 7.4 The oral presentation by the author is a requirement for granting an event participation certificate. 8. PUBLICATION IN THE EVENT PROCEEDINGS 8.1 Only articles that were orally presented at the event will be published in the Proceedings of the IV International Conference of Legal Studies and the I International Seminar for Law Research - Labor, Technologies, Multinational and Migration (TTMMs) whose systematization is an Organizing Committee s responsibility. 8.2 The event Proceedings will be published in electronic format. 8.3 There shall be no review, modification or replacement of articles by the authors after the submission for publication in the proceedings. 8.4 The contents of the published works will be authors responsibility, who must strictly follow the standards of copyright and ethics of scientific research, and keep safe the members of the Organizing Committee and the Universities involved in the event of any copyright or plagiarism violation and / or any jurisditional action for damages brought by third parties, taking full and exclusive responsibilities for this acts.

STATEMENTS, PUBLICATIONS AND CERTIFICATES 9.1 All statements and certificates for the IV International Legal Studies Conference and I International Research in Law Research Labor, Technologies, Multinational and Migration (TTMMs) will be available in the CONPEDI site until May 20, The articles presented at the event will be published on the CONPEDI site with ISBN issued by the National Library until July 24, The authors, by submitting your articles to the "Public Law" system, automatically cede the copyright on an irrevocable and free character to the Organizing Committee of the IV International Congress of Legal Studies and I International Seminar for Law Research Labor, Technologies, and Multinational migration (TTMMs), not consisting of any compensation to them. The organization of the IV International Congress of Legal Studies and I International Seminar for Law Research Labor, Technologies, and Multinational migration (TTMMs) may publish the articles mentioning the author and the event, either in digital form or printed in event proceedings or in other publications at its own discretion. 9.4 Only the author who submitted his final paper and signed the attendance in their respective GT will have its presentation statement available in its associated area. 9.5 The publication of the article depends on it s presentation in the respective WG by, at least, one of the authors. 9.6 will be entitled to receive an event s participation certificate all participants and duly registered listeners who attend the minimum rate of 75%. 9.7 It's up to all subscribers to register their daily attendance at the points indicated for this purpose. 9.8 For percentage frequency counting effect it will be considered all-day event, according to the official program. 10 REGISTRATION AT THE EVENT 10.1 Registration is compulsory to presente the article and to participate as a listener. Registration may be done from December 23, 2017 until March 31, The registration s fee will cost the amount of R$ (seventy reais) and exceptionally, for undergraduate students the cost will be of R$ (twenty reais). Starting on April 1, 2018 until April 13, 2018 the registration s fee will cost the amount of $ (a hundred reais), also for undergraduate students. Students whom are proven to be economically hyposufficient should claim exemption by writing and sending documentation for the event s organization on the address seminariottmms@gmail.com. The organization will have wide autonomy to define the issues on exemptions, as well as any misunderstoods about this guidelines The organization will not perform costs refunds or operate the transfer of the amount paid for registration to third parties Any person that is properly registered may attend the event as a listener. In this case, the one will receive a participant s certificate since he attends at least 75% of the event.
7 10.4 Certificates and statements will be provided by the system in the CONPEDI site The registration fee of $ (seventy reais) must be paid exclusively by accessing the link provided in the CONPEDI site in the associated area. It may be settled through credit card options, online debit or bank transfer We will not accept account deposits and / or bank transfers directly to the institution s account The payment by bank transfer is only available until March 29, Authors who are not attending the event are exempt from paying this fee Even in the listener condition, it is mandatory to fill in the registration on the CONPEDI site and to pay the registration s fee (R$ for undergraduates and R$ for others, following the terms of this notice s paragraph 10.1). 11. Final Provisions 10. Final Provisions 10.1 the submitted articles will be deleted, including the final presentation by the Organizing Committee, if it is verified (before, during or after the event) any disagreement with the provisions of this Guidelines. In this case, there will be no refund, of any amount, of the registration fee s payment.
