2 Important: Do it on time! Visa-free staying in Estonia is for 90 days in half year. Procedure to apply and acquire a resident permit takes 60 days.

11 Tips: Make photo in our office s photobooth (free). Have your photo taken, then take a ticket from queue ticket machine. Press on touch screen: Applications for doc > Residence permit Ask for help from the information desk at the lobby!

12 State fee: 64,00 euro for residence permit contains the fee for residence permit card

13 Payment options: in our office (Riia str 132) cash debit card (only Estonian bank card, service fee accrues) in bank in e- bank

14 Tips: Payment with Swedbank debit card : Please check out from your bank office about the opportunities of making bank-transfers

15 Suggestion from Student Village: Visit them again with your new Estonian residence permit card for registration. Either your dormitory s houselady or Narva mnt 25, Tartu Student Village

16 Obligations after receiving residence permit card: Register your place of residence within one month in the Population Register Office,Küüni 5, Tartu tel: Register your absence from Estonia with PBGB, Riia 132, Tartu, if you stay outside Estonia for more than a total of 183 days a year.

17 Conditions for employment: Employment is permitted as long as it doesn t interfere with studies.

18 The application contains: Application form and annexes (4 ) Additional documents passport (copy) legal income document health insurance policy (medical) request from University about the details of your studies photo state fee payment document argumentation of the purpose for settling to Estonia

19 Requirements to documents: Document containing information about your legal income in last 6 months: scholarship your own salary parents salary other legal sources Legal income must be at least 180 euros per month. English, Russian and Estonian languages are acceptable!

20 Requirements to documents: Health insurance policy valid in territory of Estonia covers General Practitioner s (family doctor) expenses at least AON, ERGO, Swisscare International Student Health Insurance, insurance offered by ISEP program, IF Insurance policies are suitable

21 Requirements to documents: argumentation of the purpose for settling to Estonia - written explanation about reasons for settling specifically in Estonia (free form)
