1 Creating a Blabberized President Report Once you have completed your written report for your President you can now summarize your report by creating a representation of your President and making it talk. Before you complete these steps make sure you have the following: 1 Representation of your President's head and shoulders creatively created. - It can be a colorful drawing, a sculpture, a frame glued with yarn, cottonballs or anything else to make your President look real. 1 digital picture of your President that you created - You CANNOT use a picture from a book. You have to create the picture or sculpture of your President. 1 mp3 recording of your summarized speech that can be read in 30 seconds written in 1st person (I, me, we, us, etc.) about your Presidents life. Now you can begin!!! Find Blabberize.Com Navigate to Click on the button that says Login/Signup Creating a Blabberized President Report - 1

2 Log in Type in the Username/ kolsetroom22 and the password: room22 Make the Blabber At this point you will see last years Presidents. You can use these as examples or click on the button that says MAKE at the top of the screen. Do not delete anything. I am notified when the website is changed. If this is abused you lose. 3 Choose Blabber Classic We have not tried Super Blaber yet so we will stick with the classic version right now. You can also watch the video here to help you out. Find a Picture Click on the button that says BROWSE. If you forget anythig there are extra directions at the top of the creation page. Creating a Blabberized President Report - 3

4 Resize Frame You will need to make sure the picture covers the entire canvas you are working with. Choose the green dot on the corner of the large green frame and drag it to fit your image. Select the Mouth Choose the head at the bottom of your screen. This will bring up dots that will allow you to frame the mouth. Creating a Blabberized President Report - 4

5 Frame the Mouth Move the dots around on your image to frame where you want the mouth to talk. If you click on the line that is visible on the picture and drag you can move all of the dot locations. The blue and green dots control the shape of the mouth and the dark blue or purple dot located down on the far bottom controls how far down the mouth will drop. Record your Audio Click on the microphone next to the head at the bottom of your web page. Most of our computers will not allow us to record on the internet using the built in microphone so you are going to have to Upload our Audio. Click on the UPLOAD AUDIO button. 6 Locate Audio File You should have recorded your summary on the computer earlier. Locate this recording and upload it. If it is successful you will get a notification letting you know you can preview it by clicking on the Mail Icon. Preview and Save Click on the MAIL icon next to the microphone. Preview your recording to see if you like it. If you want to make change click on the icons to change any feature you do not like. Once you have completed your changes click on SAVE. If the browser crashes or you do not save the image you will have to start all over again. Creating a Blabberized President Report - 6

7 SAVE When you save your Blabber you need to fill in the following information in the three areas that come up: Title: (Your Number)(Your Presidents Name) example- 00Barack Obama Description:(His Number in the Presidency in a complete sentence) example- He is the 44th President of the United States Tags:(These are very important in order for me to find your blabber)(your Number, Presidents Name, My Last Name, Your Room #, Year Created) example- 00 Barack Obama, kolset, room22, 2009 Now click on SAVE Creating a Blabberized President Report - 7

8 You have now saved your blabber. I can now view it and put it up for the world to learn about your President. You can also watch it at this point to make sure it is what you like. If not can click on EDIT to fix any mistake on the text or DELETE to start all over. Creating a Blabberized President Report - 8
