17 17 Closing" Let s remember our friends Bob Dickerson and Gail Neumann, both recently passed, and both were extremely passionate about saving lives and ending poverty. They started this work when things were much worse in the world. Along with many on this call, people might have thought them a bit crazy, thinking you can stop poor children from dying, that we can offer all children an education, that poor people are bankable, and that we can stop millions of poor people from dying of AIDS. But it didn t stop them." They ve passed the torch to us on work they started and anyone who knew either of them knows that they expect us to pick up the torch and pick up the pace. They helped bring us to point where we can see the finish line on some of these issues. Let s do our part in this marathon, because it s the right thing to do, but also to honor their life s work."
18 What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make. " - Jane Goodall!
