1 SelectivePrep 7 th Grade Standardized Test Preparation Program Get your child into one of the Chicago Public School s Selective Enrollment High Schools. Competition for admission is fierce and intensifying last year over 16,000 students applied for about 3,000 available openings. SelectivePrep offers a 17-hour program to help prepare students for the Spring 2019 Measures of Academic Progress (NWEA/MAP) test that will be used for the 7 th grade standardized test score. Scores from this test represent one third of the Selective Enrollment admissions score. Additionally, scores from this Exam will play a crucial role in determining whether or not a student is admitted to other competitive programs including International Baccalaureate (IB) and advanced magnet high schools. To fully prepare students for these more rigorous tests, the SelectivePrep program has incorporated material based on the new tougher Common Core standards into its program. The SelectivePrep Program includes: Diagnostic test. Initial assessment that provides a detailed analysis of individual student strengths/weaknesses. Interactive classroom program. Comprehensive 17-hour hands-on classroom program tuned to actual NWEA/MAP content. Focused classroom materials. Rigorous review of NWEA/MAP topics developed by test prep experts page Study Guide. Hundreds of review questions (including answers and step by step solutions). Instructor updates. Regular and specific updates on student performance and in-class quizzes. Practice test review. Full length administration & review of NWEA/MAP Practice Test topics. Tuition for the SelectivePrep 7 th Grade Program is $460. A minimum deposit of $100 is required to hold your spot, with the balance due the first class. Class size is limited to 20 students, so don t delay. To sign up call us at OR register on hit Register for a Class and choose the appropriate program under the 7 th Grade Programs section.
