1 DAILY BIBLE READING FIRE BAPTIZED HOLINESS CHURCH OF GOD OF THE AMERICAS, INCORPORATED PRAYER DAILY 12:00 pm est * s are scheduled as follows* Sunday Mornings 7:30 AM and Prayer with Bishop Patrick L. Frazier, Jr. Wednesdays 11:45 AM - and Prayer with Bishop Johnnie L. Davis Fridays 11:45 AM - and Prayer with Bishop Alonzo L. Rodgers Greetings to all of the Saints of the Most High God. As we embark on this New Year, 2016, we decree it to be The Year of Advance. As John said to Gaius, (3 John 1:2) Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. This is not only our prayer, but is our declaration moving throughout this It is our desire that we experience increase, in every area of our lives, even as we mature spiritually. If the premise of Christian Discipline is founded in our spiritual development, we must then put fore the effort in what nurtures our Christ-like nature. While prayer is crucial to our spirituality, so is the study and application of the Word of God. His infallible word presents to us His mind, and if we embrace His mind, all that is His becomes ours. We must live in expectation of His manifest purpose, in us, as well as through us. This year, along with our designated Noon-Day Prayer, we are promoting that all our members commit to daily reading, through the Bible. This daily reading is to be a time of gleaning the mind of God, in our daily communion with Him. During our personal study, and devotional time, we are to give ourselves to communion with God. As we read through the Holy Scriptures, we will find a release of the power of His Living Word, activated in our lives. Let us therefore, commit ourselves to its simple teachings, and grow as we live according to its instruction. We purpose during our Prayer time, to have daily corporate worship, and communion with God, as we fellowship one with the other. In true prayer, we acknowledge His purpose, and accept His will for His Church. We must continue petitioning God on behalf of our brothers and sisters, the lost, as well as ourselves. Praying and reading of God s Word is the process through which we seek His perfect will for our lives and for His Kingdom, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, in earth as it is in Heaven. Prayer Leaders should be mindful of the following; Maintain focus on the monthly themes. Any upcoming functions of the Fire Baptized Holiness Church. Considerate of bereavements throughout the church at large. Families that are experience illnesses or giving care. Our Nation and those in authority in our government. Current issues and tragedies, disasters, and calamities that affect our society. Church Leaders (Bishops, National Officers, Elders, etc.). All National and General Church Leaders (Ruling Elders etc.) are to be on the Prayer Call Daily as much as possible. Ruling Elders and Pastors are to promote participation of local church leaders and members :00 PM - Monday Saturday Wednesday/Friday 11:45 AM
