5. Sestonic Chlorophyll-a Sampling for 2018 Joe R. went over previous meeting discussion on Sestonic Chlorophyll-a sampling for 2018 with the total sampling cost of $3,120.00. Joe R. gave a timeline: samples will be taken by the end of July and continue throughout August and October. a. 2018 Suburban Labs Contract Amendment Beth A. suggested clarification on the total number of samples (13). Joe R. made changes to the contract by fixing the wording (13-2, duplicate, and charges) and adding brackets to the samples. 6. MBI Update Sampling Schedule Joe R. started the discussion and Rob F. followed with a sampling timeline and locations. No word from MBI but sampling is expected to start soon. MBI will be contacted for updates on sampling dates. 7. Record Retention Requirements in the QAPP Beth A. gave updates on the QAPP contract regarding storing and backing up data. The bioassessment QAPP says the contractor will manage all the data and laboratory forms. Clarification for how long the data and information will be stored by Suburban Labs is needed. 8. List of NPDES Permits in the Watershed and Future Map of Their Locations Joe R. started the discussion with creating a map of NPDES Permit locations and narrowing down E. Coli hot spot sources. Mike W. introduced Ernesto H. who has created an updated list of IL00s (wastewater treatment plant) and ILR00s (industrial) permits. Ernesto H. followed by presenting various GIS maps to the Committee Members. Clarification is required on outdated GIS data with active and inactive and public and private owned locations. a. E. Coli Sampling Discussion Joe R. suggested making a key on the map for active or inactive locations because both have affected water quality. Sampling results will allow the narrowing down of locations. Joe M. discussed hot spot mapping and mentioned outfall screening: a 5-year period prioritizing process with driving forces such as size (36 inches and up), ILR00 buffer (quarter mile), and proximity from impaired waters (100 feet). Joe R. suggested bracketing all IL00s to narrow down E. Coli hot spots for a map. 9. Old Business None. 10. Other Business Beth A. gave updates on Jeff Laramy s IPS Modeling hours and presented a map of points. Jeff L. has put in 15 hours of the scheduled 100 hours. There are many points and Jeff L. expects that he will use most of the 100 hours, he is currently having weekly calls with DRSCW and MBI. IPS Modeling results are expected in October.
