Commssoner Hare advsed Publc Works had receved the FLAP Grant whch was only for roads that access publc lands and Galce Road s a heavly accessed road. Approval of Contract Between Josephne County and WH Pacfc for Engneerng Desgn, Envronmental and Constructon Servces Durng AWOS-IIIT Project, a ConnectOregon V-ed Project ( One orgnal Contract t fled wth the County Clerk) Larry Graves, Arport Manager, dscussed the contract wth WH Pacfc to oversee the ste locaton for the nstallaton of the AWOS-IIIT system at the Grants Pass Arport and advsed t was part of the ConnectOregon-V grant. He explaned the need for an nstrument approach system was very hgh due to restraned trade and dsrupton of servces havng to be dverted elsewhere based on weather condtons. d. Approval of Request for Poston Reclassfcaton- Publc Health Clnc Nurse (Moton only no documents) JJ Scofeld, Human Resources Drector, dscussed the need to reclassfy the Publc Health Clnc Nurse postons due to the t mplementaton of Coordnated Care Organzatons ( CCO' s) whose nurses provde very smlar dutes to publc health nurses but pad at a much hgher rate of pay. He announced the Court Apponted Specal Advocates ( CASA) luncheon at the Bear Hotel on February 12, 215 and congratulated Ryan Mulkns who has been apponted as the Dstrct Attorney replacng Stephen Campbell. Commssoner Heck advsed that Alan Bolschweger, Bureau of Land Management, reported Pea Vne Road was closed for an ndefnte tme, Bear Camp Road should reman open, and Rock Creek Road and Rffle Creek Road would be cleared wthn 24 hours, and announced upcomng communty events. Commssoner Hare recognzed Ross Roe for hs tremendous contrbutons and hs tme he provdes for the Annual Tree Plant Event.
