Social Media Overview Social and digital media plays a major role in how we communicate with Balloon Fiesta s audience. It enables our team to connect with fans locally and all over the world; giving on-field attendees a way to connect and off-field fans an opportunity to experience the event from afar. Below is an overview reflecting results and content developed by our team, posted through the official AIBF accounts. 2017 Social Media Successes: Following is a detailed breakdown of each social media outlet s performance: Facebook (via Facebook Analytics) Our strategy focused on posting engaging material throughout the year (including pilot welcomes, historical and organization facts and event tips), striking images, contests/sweepstakes, videos and acted as a guest service tool. Facebook Top Three Posts (October 7 October 15): 1) Photo of Special Shape Glowdeo 10/12 (37.7 K engagements)

2) Balloon Fiesta Live Morning Session 10/12 (21.6 K engagements) 3) Photo of second Mass Ascension (20.9 K engagements) January 2017 October 2017, Facebook reach increased by 23.61 percent, resulting in an audience of 7,894,048.
