April 2017 Page 3 Dear Ladies, President's Message Can you believe that this is the last newsletter of our 2016-17 season? Where has this year flown??!! I hope you will make plans to attend our April luncheon at Westwood Country Club where we will confirm our slate of officers for next season and more importantly thank those who have so graciously served us this year. We have enjoyed wonderful programs, delicious meals, timely newsletters, excellent bookkeeping, vibrant interest groups and so much more. It doesn t happen by magic. As those who have served in past years know, there is a lot of work behind the scenes to keep it all flowing smoothly. PLEASE take a moment to thank our ladies who give their time to this wonderful group. Lastly, as we close out a great year, it is time to pay dues for 2017-18. If you attend the luncheon, you may drop off your check when you arrive. Otherwise, please forward your check now (before summer plans distract) to Fay Evans-Martin. Thank you for your participation! Warmest regards, Mary Newcomb President, ULC Luncheon Tidbits Scholarship Donations A donation was made in memory of Ned Burns by Janie & David Gavenda. Thank you!
