Sorors can present our discount card and receive 5-65% off any item. The discount is available to all members. The discount card will be sent via Yahoo and it can be downloaded from our website. The discount card can also be used for personal purchases Save the date Jun 20 @ 6:00 p.m. for Fellowship Friday. The new Executive Boards of CAC and DOCF will be hosting Fellowship Friday Soror Desiree Butler has resigned her position as Assistant Financial Secretary. The vacancy will be filled at the September Chapter meeting Soror Debra Barrett experienced a house fire and lost everything. If you would like to donate items, please bring them to the Executive Board meeting between 6:30-8:30 or you can contact her directly (phone number provided) The Executive Board made a charge to the Finance Committee to make a recommendation for how to use the $18k (Reserved Funds) in our Investment Account. We received 13 emails with 1
recommendations on how to use the funds. The Finance Committee reviewed the submissions and is recommending: o $9,000 Mortgage Payment o $5,000 Scholarship Committee o $4,000 - CD/Money Market Account The Executive Committee met on Jun 13 to bring a recommendation for the remaining $13k: o $8,500 Contingency funds to pay Mortgage o $3,000 Custodian/Security Costs o $1,500-Soror Barrett o Motion will be brought by the Finance Committee We will vote on Charitable Contributions and Policies & Procedures today Charitable Contributions Mutsa Kemp $20,500 in Charitable Contributions has been approved.
