Book manuscript being updated and prepared for publication. Agricultural distortions study: India and South Asia case studies (May 2006 to end 2008). This was a World Bank financed and managed study of trends in the relative incentives for agriculture world-wide. I was responsible with Ashok Gulati and Kanupriya Gupta (IFPRI New Delhi office) for the case study on India, and with Ashok Gulati for writing a summary of the case studies of the South Asian countries (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka). India-Pakistan trade and trade policies (completed 2005). This was a series of consultant studies managed from the Islamabad office of the World Bank. I assisted with methodology and quality control and wrote a paper on the potential for textile and clothing trade between Pakistan and India, and its likely economic welfare consequences. India-Bangladesh Trade and Preferential Trade Policies (completed 2005). This was a World Bank funded and managed project which involved empirical studies by consultants in India and Bangladesh. I was responsible for the methodologies, assisted with management and wrote most of vol 1 and all of vol 2 of the World Bank grey cover report : Studies on India- Bangladesh Trade: Trade Policies and Potential FTA. (World Bank, October, 2006). Trade Policies in South Asia: an Overview. Completed 2004. World Bank three volume grey cover report (Report no 29949, September 7, 2004).
