P/P 128 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, approves Mr. Serra Alexander as substitute custodian at $13.86 per hour for the 2015/16 school year, upon criminal history background clearance as required by P.O. 1986, C.116. P/P 129 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, approves the use of 25 sick days commencing October 12, 2015 and an unpaid Maternity/Disability leave of absence for Ms. Kirsten Purser commencing Wednesday, November 18, 2015 and ending on Monday January 4, 2016 and FMLA/NJFLA applicable as well as State of New Jersey for Family Leave Insurance Benefits as applicable. Ms. Purser expects to return on Monday January 4, 2016. RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education, approves the Use of School Facilities for the following: - St. Thomas of Aquin to conduct religious education classes during the 2015/16 school year. - KEEP Inc. to conduct Before and After School Enrichment and Childcare Programs during the 2015/15 school year. RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education, approves the out of district tuition for special education student to attend Northern Hills Academy ESY summer program for 2015 at $9,395.00. RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education approves the renewal of the membership in School Alliance Insurance Fund beginning July 1, 2015 and ending July 1, 2018 with the Fund providing coverage for Workers Compensation, Property Package, Excess Liability, School Leaders Professional Liability, Supplemental Liability and furthermore; hereby authorizes Marilyn Cuykendall, Business Administrator/Board Secretary to execute the renewal Indemnity and Trust Agreement as attached. F/F 94 F/F 95 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education has been informed of the approved vendor contracts for the 2015/16 school year with a comparison to the 2014/15 vendor contracts. RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education s School Business Administrator/Board Secretary possesses a qualified purchasing agent certificate; WHEREAS, the Governor, in consultation with the State Treasurer and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-3(b), on July 1, 2015 has increased the bid threshold amount for school districts with purchasing agents who possess qualified purchasing agent certificates, from $36,000 to $40,000; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-3(a) and N.J.A.C. 5:34-5.4, establishes and sets the bid threshold amount of $40,000 for the board of education, and further authorizes Marilyn Cuykendall to award contracts, in full accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-3(a), for those purchases that do not exceed in the aggregate of the newly established bid threshold amount. F/F 96 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education return state share of Communications Project, SDA Grant #G5-5860, Project #: SDA3840-050-13 G2QW, $25,596.40 to Capital Reserve from Capital Projects.
