Advanced Computer Science Grant Program Submission The Board approves the District s submission of the Advanced Computer Science Grant Program application to the New Jersey Department of Education (FY19). The total amount of funds requested is $100,000. B. Jewish Family Service of Atlantic County Memorandum of Understanding The Board approves the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Jewish Family Service of Atlantic County and the Ocean City High School for the 2018-19 school year. C. High School Voter Registration Statement of Assurance (Attachment #2.C) The Board approves the submission of the attached High School Voter Registration Statement of Assurance (SOA) for the 2017-18 school year. D. High School Field Trip Request (Attachment #2.D) The Board approves the attached High School Field Trip list. E. High School Winter Sports Schedules (Attachment #2.E) The Board approves the attached High School 2018-19 Winter Sports Schedules. F. Intermediate School Field Trip Request (Attachment #2.F) ( Ocean City Representatives Only) The Board approves the attached Intermediate School Field Trip list. G. The total amount of funds requested is $10,000. I. Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) Case Findings (Attachment #2.I) The Board adopts and approves Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying (HIB) Case Findings as reported in the attached. 3. Finance A. Bill List (Attachment #3.A) The Board approves the payment of bills for November 2018 in the amount of $6,736,120.51. B. Secretary and Monthly Cash Reconciliation Reports (Attachment #3.B) The Board approves the Board Secretary s Monthly Financial Report and the Monthly Cash Reconciliation Report for September 2018. C. Line Item Transfers (Attachment #3.C) The Board approves the revenue and appropriation transfers for September 2018. The Board also acknowledges receipt of the State of NJ mandated transfer reconciliation form for September 2018. D. Travel & Expense Reimbursement (Attachment #3.D) The Board approves the November 2018 list of Board of Education Members and School District Staff travel and related expense reimbursements. E. Food Service Report (Attachment #3.E) The Board accepts the Food Service Monthly Finance Report for October 2018. F. Reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education ACT (ESEA) Fiscal Year 2019 Consolidated Grant The Board authorizes the District s amended submission of the ESSA/ESEA FY 19 consolidated grant application. G. Joint Transportation Agreement The Board approves the 2018-2019 Joint Transportation Agreement with the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District Board of Education. Greater Egg Harbor Regional (host) will transport one Ocean City (joiner) student along with four Greater Egg Harbor Regional students to Atlantic County Special Services School District on Route No. ACS-GE16 starting September 6, 2018, to June 30, 2019, at a joiner cost of $12,780. H. Resolution to Terminate Participation in the School Employees Health Benefit Program A RESOLUTION to terminate all participation under the State Health Benefits Program and School Employees' Health Benefits Program (including Prescription Drug Plan and/or Dental Plan coverage). BE IT RESOLVED: 1. The Cape May County hereby resolves to terminate its participation in the program (Medical Plan and Prescription Drug Plan coverage) thereby canceling coverage provided by the State Health Benefits Program and/or School Employees' Health Benefits Program (N.J.S.A. 52:14-17.25 et seq.) for all of its active and retired employees. 2. We shall notify all active employees of the date of their termination of coverage under the program. 3. We understand that the Division of Pensions and Benefits will notify retired employees of the cancellation of their coverage. 4. We understand that all COBRA participants will be notified by the Division of Pensions and Benefits and advised to contact our office concerning a possible alternative health, prescription drug, and dental insurance plan. 5. We understand that this resolution shall take effect the first of the month following a 60-day period beginning with the receipt of the resolution by the State Health Benefits Commission or School Employees' Health Benefits Commission. I. US Communities Governmental Purchasing Alliance The Board authorizes the execution of a printer maintenance contract to be obtained from Keystone Digital Imaging, Inc. (KDI) in accordance with the U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance ( U.S. Communities ) and The Fairfax County, Virginia Contract for Multifunction Devices / Managed Print Services, Number 4400003732. The School Business Administrator is authorized to issue a purchase order(s) for said printer maintenance contract in accordance with the terms of the U.S. Communities & Fairfax County, Virginia contract number 4400003732 as authorized by N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b), PL 2011, c 139 and New Jersey Division of Local Government Services (DLGS) Local Finance Notice LFN 2012-10. The maintenance contract is a 12 month term with a monthly maintenance charge of $2,830. J. Donation The Board accepts funding for the Ocean City High School for the 2018-19 school year from the Upper Township and Ocean City Municipal Alliance Committee (UT & OC MAC) as follows: Intramural Program $400.00 REBEL $400.00 Students Against Destructive Decisions $400.00 Yoga Program $75.00 Red Ribbon Week $350.00 K. Donation The Board accepts a donation from OceanFirst Bank in the form of a $500 Amazon gift card for the High School to be utilized with the DECA program. L. Donation (Ocean City Representatives Only) The Board accepts funding for the Ocean City Intermediate and Primary Schools Drug Awareness and Prevention 2018 Red Ribbon Week from the Upper Township and Ocean City Municipal Alliance Committee (UT & OC MAC) as follows: Intermediate School Supplies $350.00 Camfel Presentations $695.00 Primary School Supplies $350.00 Page 4 of 9

M. Donation (Ocean City Representatives Only) The Board accepts a donation from OceanFirst Bank in the form of a $500 Amazon gift card for both the Intermediate School and Primary School. The Intermediate School s award will support Student of the Month Activities. The Primary School s award will be utilized in the Raider Ready program. Page 5 of 9

Substitutes and Sporting Event Worker (Attachment #4.A) roll call vote The Board approves the attached criminal history approved/hib trained substitutes and sporting event worker for the 2018-19 school year. B. Retirement - District Staff - roll call vote The Board accepts with deep regret the retirement of Dana Loder, Assistant School Business Administrator, effective as of July 1, 2019. C. High School 2018-19 Coaches, Volunteer Coaches and Volunteer Coaches Aides (Attachment #4.C) roll call vote The Board approves the attached High School 2018-19 coaches, volunteer coaches and volunteer coaches aides. D. Extended Leave of Absence - High School Supportive Staff (Attachment #4.D) - roll call vote The Board approves employee #1502, and extended unpaid FMLA leave of absence through November 21, 2018. E. Leave of Absence - High School Certified Staff (Attachment #4.E) - roll call vote The Board approves employee #4181, a paid leave of absence, effective March 22, 2019 through May 14, 2019, and an unpaid FMLA/NJFLA leave of absence, effective May 15, 2019 through June 7, 2019. F. Long-Term Leave Replacement - Intermediate School Certificated Staff (Attachment #4.F) - roll call vote ( Ocean City Representatives Only) The Board approves Marcia Vogel, Intermediate School long-term leave replacement seventh grade mathematics teacher, effective December 10, 2018 through April 12, 2019 at a salary of $49,577 (pro-rated) BA, step 1. G. Intermediate School 2018-19 Grades 4-8 After School Help Advisors (Attachment #4.G) - roll call vote ( Ocean City Representatives Only) The Board approves the attached Intermediate School 2018-19 grades 4-8 after school help advisors at a stipend of $32 per hour, program not to exceed 140 hours. H. Intermediate School 2018-19 Theater Camps Site Monitor and Stipend - roll call vote ( Ocean City Representatives Only) The Board approves Christie Pontari, as Intermediate School 2018-19 Theater Camps site monitor at a stipend of $32 per hour, program not to exceed 5-7 hours a week per monitor (number of teachers based on enrollment). I. Primary School 2018-19 Theater Camps Site Monitors and Stipends - roll call vote ( Ocean City Representatives Only) The Board approves Francesca Siligrini and Laura Watts, as Primary School 2018-19 Theater Camps site monitors at a stipend of $32 per hour, program not to exceed 5-7 hours a week per monitor (number of teachers based on enrollment).
