Concerns addressed in the report related to water meter technology, the need for a cost benefit analysis, the experience of the low bidder, and capital and operating costs. 00060? 4:0 p.m. in the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium Page 8.7 997 Charitable Casinos Referendum Results (4200-20) The City Clerk and Chief Election Officer, in compliance with the Municipal Act, declared the results of the 997 Charitable Casinos Referendum - Other Voting. n response to the question: "Should charitable casinos be allowed in the City of Abbotsford?", 4,355 voters voted "yes" and 8,7 voters voted "no". There were 58,28 eligible electors, including 56,69 on the List of Electors, and,590 new registrations. Therefore, 3,57, or 23% of eligible electors in the City of Abbotsford, cast ballots. Moved by Councillor Peary, seconded by Councillor Gill, that the verbal report by the City Clerk and Chief Election Officer, declaring the results of the 997 Charitable Casinos Referendum, be received.
