SAFETY Jay Anderson Securing nets: Jillian Paige provided picture of a fallen goal. No players harmed. A reminder to secure all nets. Coaches to inspect nets prior to each practice and game (home and away.) -Jay to write draft of TYSL policy; email vote to be issued following edit. -Jay to select a rigid, highly visible weight in place of sand bag. 3. OCTOBER MINUTES Jay Anderson Jay Cohen marked absent at October meeting; He was present. Motion to adjust October minutes, marking Jay C. present by Krissy; 2 nd by Laura. 8 in favor; 0 opposed 4. OPEN POISITIONS Jay Anderson December meeting: decision to be made on the fate of Mass cup. If we are to host MC, phone calls to begin in January.
5. ACTION LOG REVIEW Jay Anderson U4-U5: Krissy or Karen to cover until candidate is identified. Fundraiser: Until candidate is identified volunteers to contribute with a board member to oversee. Upper field kickboard: Jay to schedule removal with Manny. No new action items. 6. PURCHASING Beth Cunningham Mike Phelan to provide a sample of 2018 uniform. Uniform pieces and kits to be ordered online. Beth to provide all travel players with jersey numbers. We will have the option to add another product to online ordering, such as a training jersey. Purchases of products from web site at a 10% discount. -Deadline for placing uniform orders TBD. - Try-on night to be scheduled. -Assign numbers 7. IN-TOWN Karen Anderson/Krissy Naughton Challenger Sports to register and manage U4/U5. CS uniforms. 8 weeks, $85. U4/5 time slots on Saturdays TBD. U4/5 Director to act as liaison between CS and TYSL; parent involvement to be discussed with CS.
8. PLAYER DEVELOPMENT Mario Almeida Site leader from CS to manage U6; parent volunteers to coach; coach training to be scheduled. Site leader to oversee player training and weekly jamboree. U8: no changes to spring season; site leader to plan visits focusing on needs relative to wide range of skills. U6/U8 to order TYSL uniforms. -Specifics to be emailed to Laura for registration information. -Register first week in December. -Communicate with parents and fall 2016 coaches. Coach training Fitchburg 1/28; TYSL to reimburse attendees. Suggestion: recognize coaches for volunteerism; shirt? Gift card?
