MeTV s library includes almost 100 beloved series from Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, CBS Television Distribution, NBC Universal Television as well as independent series owners and producers. The CW originated from its parent companies CBS and Warner Bros which is where the name comes from. The network started airing in 2006 and picked up programs that it s predecessors, The WB and UPN, were no longer airing. It has since changed its target demographic to be more family orientated with dramas and super heroes filling the lineup.

Anchors Josh Little moved from California to Reno in 1994 to attend the University of Nevada, where he graduated with a degree in Journalism. He joined the team as an intern in 2000, was hired as a news photographer in 2001, and promoted to Weekend Sports Anchor a year later. He spent 16 years in the Sports department; the last 9.5 years as Sports Director. He is currently the co-anchor of Good Morning Reno. He's now spent the majority of his life living in Reno. So he considers himself brimming with "Nevadatude." Rebecca Kitchen is a fourth-generation native Nevadan. She pursued a broadcast degree from the University of Nevada. After joining the team as an intern in 2011, she has worked her way up through various positions now accomplished her goal of becoming an anchor. Her highlights include traveling on Honor Flight Nevada with veterans and her grandfather and covering the 2016 Little Valley Fire, for which she earned an Emmy nomination. She was voted 2018 Reno News and Review Best Local TV News Anchor in Northern Nevada. Denise Wong joined the KOLO 8 News Now team in September 2016, but she's not new to Northern Nevada. In fact, this is the second time she's worked at KOLO and couldn't be more thrilled to move back to Reno to raise her family. With nearly 20 years of experience she has followed her career around the country. She graduated from UCLA, majoring in Communication Studies and Psychology. She holds a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University. Noah Bond is an award-winning journalist who career started in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He comes to Reno from Seattle, where he delivered several live reports about the Oso mudslide in Washington. He coanchors at 5PM, 6:30PM and 11PM. Noah has also worked in Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky and Utah. He earned degrees in broadcasting at Brigham Young University in Idaho, where he was named the Division and Language and Letters Man of the Year, and Brigham Young University Utah. He also served as the fill-in play-byplay man for the Nevada baseball team for several years, the Reno Silver Sox from 07-08 and the Reno Aces for parts of their first 3 seasons. In 2008 he got his own show. In 2015 he made the switch to television and after a year as a morning show producer, he became a reporter, and now is the weekend anchor! Jeff holds the title of Chief Meteorologist as well as the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation from the American Meteorological Society and has the National Weather Association Seal of Approval. Lindsey Matherly is no stranger to forecasting. Prior to joining KOLO she was the morning/noon weather anchor at KTVL in Medford, Oregon. One of the more exciting days in her career was during the 2011 Japanese Earthquake which produced a tsunami that hit the west coast. She attended the University of Oregon where she received her B.A. in Journalism. Dick Stoddard is a Reno native since birth. TV is something that runs in the Stoddard family from both his mother TV Betty and father owner of KATO- AM 1340. later known as KBET. Dick started his broadcast career at age 14 playing the Boss Hits on KCBN-AM 1230. He received the NWA TC Seal of Approval in 1998. Mike Stefansson grew up in Reno. During his final year in college at the University of Nevada, Reno, Mike interned at KOLO. Upon graduation, he embarked on his journey through broadcasting. After three and a half years in Montana, he moved to Spokane. After two great years in Spokane, Mike came home. Covering the teams which helped make him a sports fanatic is something he doesn t take lightly. He s hoping to bring that joy to your living rooms each and every night. Mike is thrilled to be back in Reno as the Sports Director. Kurt Schroeder aspired to be a professional athlete but when it finally hit him that making a Major League Baseball roster wasn t in his future, he turned his passion for sports and his love TV into a more obtainable goal. While attending Washington State University he worked on campus as an anchor and reporter, in the athletics department and as a sports columnist for the newspaper. After graduation he interned for the sports department in Seattle and for about a year as a writer and fill-in sports producer. Despite being from the Seattle area, he developed a love for Boston-based sports teams.
