August 215 SWEEPS REPORT ATLANTA August 27, 215 Channel 2 Action News pulled in 56% of the audience ranking #1 again in the recently completed August Sweeps. The station ranked as Atlanta s #1 television station in 22 hours of the average weekday. Channel 2 Action News This Morning from 4:3-7 a.m. out-delivered #2 WAGA by 87% and had 23% more viewers than its local news competitors combined. The local ABC affiliate s 11 p.m. news delivered 71% more viewers than #2 WAGA at 11 p.m. and 2% more viewers than WAGA s 1 p.m. newscast, Monday-Friday. August 215 SWEEPS REPORT Continued Over 143% more viewers watched WSB-TV s locally produced show, Hot Topics, with Heather Catlin than watched NBC s Saturday Night Live on WXIA. WSB-TV Digital Visitors to WSB-TV s suite of digital products grew by 33% over August 214. Page views went up 4%. Video plays increased by 23%. WSB-TV Weather and News Apps combined to climb over 1,7, downloads from the Apple and Google Play stores. Likes for Channel 2 s Facebook page grew to 797,5, up 88% over the last year, ranking it as the #1 TV Facebook fan page in the Southeast. Twitter followers grew to 26,268.
