Call of the Roll Meeting Report Review Head Representative Algushussein made a motion to approve the minutes as Welcome from Dr. Miranda Visited the meeting last year and was inspired her to read Roberts Rules of Order. Would like to express how much the faculty appreciates the work of SGA. The work SGA is doing now will be valuable in the many years to come. Vote on Co-Advisors Treasurer Bessinger made a motion to approve Dr. Payne and Dr. Saled as Co- Advisors. Budget Approval Tresurer Bessinger gave a presentation on this year s budget. Secretary Hemaini motioned to approve the Budget as written One opposition The motion was approved Bill(s) Rambler Ad Representative Menchaca presented the bill, the cost is $663.60 for advertisement in the Rambler for both semesters. Vice President motioned to move into a 3-minute moderated caucus Speakers include: Treasurer Bessinger, Chief Justice Brown, Representative Hasona, Head Representative Algussein, Vice President Saheb Head Representative Algussein made a motion to vote on the bill as. Chief Justice made a motion for a 2 minute unmoderated caucus Motion passed. Secretary Hemani made a motion for a 2 minute moderated caucus. There was one opposition Motion approved Speakers Include: Secretary Hemani Head Representative Alguseing retracted his last motion Head Representative Algussein made a motion to vote on the bill as. There was one abstention The motion passes Participation Program Vice President Saheb presented the bill. Participants must be present for at least 5 Business Meetings to be eligible to win. No more than $2,000 will be allocated for the SGA Participation Program. $1,500 will be awarded total for Organizations. $500 will be awarded total for Individuals.
