Anticipated Executive Session Motion to Enter into Executive Session On a motion by Simmie Williams, seconded by Anne Colman, the Board of Education entered into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing contract negotiations and personnel matters of a particular person or persons. Motion to Return to Regular Session On a motion by Susan Horton, seconded by Anne Colman, the Board of Education returned to regular session at 6:00 PM. Pledge to the Flag The Board President led the group in the Pledge to the Flag. Pledge of Allegiance The Board President shall lead the group in the Pledge to the American Flag. The District Superintendent introduced Dr. Laurie Cassel to the Board of Education. Prior to Dr. Cassel s retirement, she served as the Deputy Superintendent at Ulster County BOCES for many years. Dr. Cassel will be replacing the recently retired Donna Flynn-Brown as the Interim Asst. Superintendent for Instructional Programs effective January 2 July 31, 2019 for approximately 3 days/week. Adoption of Consent Agenda (Item 6 to 14) On a motion by Linda Fisk, seconded by Susan Horton, the Sullivan BOCES Board of Education approve the consent agenda as recommended: Approval of the Minutes - November 20, 2108 BE IT RESOLVED the Board of Education approves the minutes of the November 20, 2018 Meeting of the Board of Education. Approve Consulting Services Agreement BE IT RESOLVED the Sullivan County Board of Cooperative Educational Services Board of Education approves the Consulting Services Agreement with Sherry Eidel, 72 Michigan Road, Woodbourne, NY, and authorizes the District Superintendent to sign the Agreement'. The motion Carried. 7-0 Increase Substitute Salary Rates BE IT RESOLVED the Sullivan BOCES Board of Education increases the Substitute Salary Rates for the following positions effective December 31, 2018: Cleaner: $11.50/hour Teacher Aide - $12.50/hour Food Service Aide - $11.50/hour Typist - $12.50/hour Student Worker - $11.10/hour CTE Test Proctor - $11.10/hour Uncertified Teacher - $14.62/hour Appoint Student Club Signatory BE IT RESOLVED the following staff members are appointed to the positions of Central Treasurer, Deputy Central Treasurer and Additional Signatory for the Special Education Elementary Activities Club and the Special Education Jr/Sr. Activities Club for fiscal year 2018-2019. Reject Excess Equipment Bid BE IT RESOLVED the Sullivan BOCES Board of Education rejects the excess equipment bid received for the lot of machine tools and cabinet received from Richard Simpson, 113 Mandy's Road, Westtown, NY 10998. Establish Mileage Reimbursement Rate BE IT RESOLVED the Sullivan BOCES Board of Education establishes the Mileage Reimbursement Rate as.58 cents per mile effective January 1, 2019.
