MINUTES OF SIOUX COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 14, 2000 The Board of Supervisors of Sioux County, Iowa, met pursuant to adjournment at 9:00 o clock a.m. with Chairman Loren Bouma presiding. Members present were William Vander Maten, Vernon Beernink, Loren Bouma, Bernard L. Smith and Stanley L. De Haan. read. Minutes of October 31, 2000 were read and on motion and vote stand approved as Committee reports were given this date. Dennis Lange, County Auditor, reported on the canvass of General Election returns for the election held on Tuesday, November 7, 2000. Motion by Smith and supported by De Haan to approve the canvass of General Election returns including late absentee ballots that were received and properly postmarked after the polls closed in accordance with Section 53.17, Code of Iowa as Amended, showing the following election returns in Sioux County. Seven Permit Agreements with Paul Heinrichs of Hickory Technology for road right-ofway crossings in the following townships: Sections 34 and 35 of Rock Township, Section 30 of Rock Township, Section 18 of Washington Township, Section 10 of Garfield Township, Section 15 of Reading Township, Sections 5 and 6 of Lincoln Township, and Section 7 of Sioux Township. Carried, unanimous in favor. The Chairman adjourned the meeting until Monday, November 20, 2000.
