ADOPTION OF MINUTES -April 28, 2003 regular meeting -April 28, 2003 Public Meeting for Planning Matters 198-2003 SECONDED BY: Bill Martin BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the April 28, 2003 regular meeting and the April 28, 2003 Public Meeting for Planning Matters be approved and adopted as circulated. 4. DELEGATIONS 4.1 Presentation -Mayor of the Town of Minto Huron County CAO Larry Adams and Ron Elliott, Coach of the Palmerston 81 s Senior Hockey Club and the Mayor of the Town of Minto, presented the Mayor with a Jersey to wear during the council meeting. This was a result of the challenge between the Hensall Seniors and the Palmerston Hockey teams. The Mayor put on the Jersey and wore it for the meeting. 4.2 Committee of Adjustment -Minor Variance application MOTION MOVED BY: Mavis Govier 199-2003 SECONDED BY: Marg Deichert BE IT RESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 7:08 p.m. in order to hold a Committee of Adjustment hearing.

Sewer Hook Up Extensions 205-2003 SECONDED BY: Mavis Govier BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Bluewater approves the following Sewer Hook Up Extensions: Reg Brown 1 year extension until May 31, 2004 Charles Jewitt 1 year extension until May 31, 2004 Catholic Church 1 year extension until May 31, 2004 Ray Telfer 1 year extension until May 31, 2004 Don McIlwain 1 year extension until May 31, 2004 206-2003 SECONDED BY: Rod Parker BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Bluewater approves the extension of Sewer Hook Up for Mrs. Connolly until May 31, 2004 for 35071 Bayfield River Road. 6.3.2. Hensall & Hay Landfill Cover 207-2003 SECONDED BY: Rod Parker BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Public Works Manager be authorized to tender for Hensall & Hay Landfill Cover for a period of two years. 6.3.3. ITEMS REQUIRING ACTION 7.1 Ontarians with Disabilities Act Plan 213-2003 SECONDED BY: Paul Klopp BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Bluewater support a joint venture to draft a County Wide plan pursuant to the requirements of the new Ontarians with Disabilities Act with the County spearheading this joint venture and that the working group be comprised of members of the Huron County Clerks and Treasurers Association.

Page 7 May 12, 2003 Minutes 10.3 Ministry of Citizenship -Awards Any nominations or applications for these awards need to be in May 23, 2003. 10.4 Procedural By-law -amendments The amendments for the Procedural By-law are being worked on and will be at a future meeting. 10.5 Signs at Pavillion There was some discussion regarding signs at the Pavillion. There is a concern with parking, camping and fires in that area. The Public Works Manager will have No Fire signs and No Camping signs place at the Paviilion. 10.6 Property Standards By-law -complaints Bluewater s policy regarding complaints on property standards are that complaints need to be in writing. 11.
