Their tag line is Engage Empower Elect. Nowhere does it say what political affiliation drives the organization. However, it is presented by Women Lawyers of Sacramento and McGeorge School of Law. The guest speaker is Diane Feinstein, so we know the political leanings of the group. What is to be learned from this email? First, their email appeals to ALL women to join the conference to recognize and celebrate women appointees from the State of California. Second, they provide an opportunity to join other women leaders to network, learn, encourage, and inspire each other. Third, we are RWF! We should be taking the lead on celebrating the intelligence and leadership of women. At this month s meeting, the table discussion will be about how our club can reach out to all women in our community. There are conservative women who are reticent to admit they have similar values to the Republican Party. Get your thoughts and ideas together and let s share them with our table mates. I ll see you there. Karen
