The deadline for submitting local bills to the Delegation is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019. All local bills must be accompanied by completed paperwork required by the Florida Legislature, including original signatures of the legislative sponsors, and should be forwarded to Representative Eagle at 1039 SE 9th Place, Suite 301, Cape Coral, FL 33990, or by email to dane.eagle@myfloridahouse.gov. Submissions by electronic mail will be acknowledged within two (2) days of receiving the local bill and required paperwork. 1

The deadline to request placement on the meeting agenda for a general presentation before the Delegation (not related to local bills) is also 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019. All requests to be placed on the agenda must be submitted in writing to State Representative Dane Eagle, Chairman, Lee County Legislative Delegation, 1039 SE 9th Place, Suite 310, Cape Coral, FL 33990, or by email to dane.eagle@myfloridahouse.gov. Requests made by electronic mail will be acknowledged within two (2) days of receiving the request. Presenters who wish to provide supporting materials to the Delegation must submit five (5) copies of those materials to the address above by 5:00pm on Monday, January 7, 2019. Each set of materials must be printed on letter-size paper and three-hole punched at the left margin. A digital copy of the supporting materials must also be submitted by electronic mail to dane.eagle@myfloridahouse.gov by 5:00pm on Monday, January 7, 2019. These materials will be available to the public on the delegation website (www.leedelegation.com) The agenda for the meeting will be set by Wednesday, January 9, 2019 and will be changed only to accommodate unforeseen emergencies. Local Bills, in draft form, must be presented at the hearing and should be accompanied by a Resolution from the local government supporting the proposed legislation. The public will also be given an opportunity to address the delegation on state issues of concern. If you are interested in addressing the delegation, please complete the Participant Request Form. This form and all supporting documentation should be three-hole punched, free of staples, and not placed in folders. These documents will be placed in a three-ring binder and provided to members and staff. If you are submitting a funding request, you must complete a Senate Local Funding Initiative Request Form and the House Appropriations Project Request Form. Do not leave a question unanswered. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact our staff. These requests will be submitted to the appropriations committees and made available to the public on the House and Senate webpage. January 28, 2019: Orange County Legislative Delegation Meeting 9:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m. (government officials and spokespersons for government-related entities) Orange County Administration Center Commission Chambers 201 S Rosalind Ave Orlando, FL 32801 The delegation will hear testimony from government officials and spokespersons for government-related entities and conduct delegation business from 9:30 a.m. until noon and will reconvene at 2:30 p.m. to hear testimony from individual citizens and community entities. Persons wishing to address the delegation must request a place on the agenda by submitting the attached appearance record form via email to LD@ocfl.net, by fax to 407-836-2880, or by mail to this address: Orange County Legislative Delegation, Orange County Administration Center 201 South Rosalind Avenue, Third Floor, Orlando, FL 32801. To appear on the printed agenda, appearance forms must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019.
