The program of Public Policies, Strategies and Development aims to: 1. contribute towards the conceptual and instrumental renewal of public action, in the context of the transformation of the role of the State and its policies, taking into account the innovative strategies of social players and corporations.

2. qualify the participants to identify priorities, omissions and action opportunities in the field of public policies; 3. To qualify participants in decision making in strategic processes towards institutional change and development.

IIPD Main Assumption Access to knowledge constitutes the cornerstone for the dynamism of contemporary capitalist economies and assumes particular importance in the intermediate stages of national development. It is also a decisive instrument in technological catching-up processes and corporate strategies centred on innovation.
