Health Services in Finland Both public and private clinics (find out about the ones near you) With ASPE, you can use both Check with your host institution which private health provider they use for their staff Terveystalo, Mehiläinen, Diacor, Koskiklinikka (Tampere)... Reporting U.S. State Department requires Fulbright Finland to have your most up-to-date contact information. Make sure to always update Fulbright Finland on changes in your contact information (including: home address in Finland, phone number, primary email address) We need to be able to reach you in case of emergency, but sometimes also great opportunities that come up on short notice all travel we need to be able to reach you in case of emergency even if you are traveling When traveling abroad, even within the Shengen area, keep your passport and residence permit with you! Travel During Your Fulbright Grantee cannot travel during compulsory Fulbright Finland events and other engagements. NOTE: According to the international Fulbright grantee Terms and Conditions as a general rule, grantees are permitted a cumulative total of 14 days of personal travel within and outside of the host country, excluding weekends, national and/or religious holidays in the host country, and depending on the host country policies. The Fulbright Commission in the host country may permit more than 14 days of personal travel. The grantee must obtain prior approval for all personal travel from the Fulbright Commission, which may consult with ECA before granting approval. Before traveling: Make sure the timing of your trip is alright with your host institution Contact your FF program coordinator in advance (include travel dates, destination, and necessary contact information in the message) Check visa requirements for the destination country www.fulbright.fi/en/guide/grantee-responsibilities
